Only problem is he is only 5'8 which is just too short for a CB for me, in midfield will have to be his role.
Just watched the Lennon goal again- I didn't realise how good the one-touch play from Soldado and Lennon was!

Can't rely on him, he has to go. It's the same thing every year - he'll do a couple of half decent things and we wanna give him a chance, then he's dogshit over the season.I'm not a Lennon fan but I think he could have place in this side... Hate myself for even saying that!
Lennon behind the striker with Lamela and Ericksen could have a nice balance to it. Lennon will be a threat running beyond the front man with his pace which will stretching the opposition defence. It will prevent them from playing too high up the pitch. This will allow the likes of Lamela and Eriksen to find space inbetween the lines to weave their magic.

he's 6ft according to wiki and transfermarkt, so who knows what's true
I keep saying this guy can play across the 3 as well up front.
In some games I'd like to see..
Soldado Eriksen Lamela..with everyone interchanging.
Ade

It's not so much that Soldado couldn't play there but that we have others who would be far better off there. Also the guy has very limited pace and wouldn't offer enough in supporting and going beyond Ade.

Plenty of room for rotation over the season with all the comps.
He can do it.
Would be a waste of everybodys time. Far better with Townsend, Chadli, Eriksen, Holtby, Falque, Ceballos, Lennon, Pritchard getting game time there than playing Soldado there for the sake of him being potentially alright at best.
Only problem with both of them are young in their position,Reckon Veljkovic could go into the first team more often next year, seems quick, composed, and takes up good positions. Mason very impressive so far too
The thing is, would the other players just done as well? Can't rely on him, he has to go. It's the same thing every year - he'll do a couple of half decent things and we wanna give him a chance, then he's dogshit over a the season.
Sell.
Thought Mason was also a highlight. I know it's only pre season but he's shone and been noticeable on the pitch whereas Carroll didn't do enough for me in the same role
Soldado has a goal and 3 assists? What's your point?..Kane scores twice and 1 assist and he is not in the team?
