Unless Gards has come on here and said that about Green and not just taken from his twitter, I think this is a mix up.

Gards @Gards44 · 13h
Touted to go to them! This deal may drag if saints don't get targets they want! Lwf a new name been mentioned by a few people Julian green

Gards @Gards44 · 13h
But I am unsure on that! Still in for a striker but the deal has to be right! We won't sign one if all 3 stay!

Update from yesterday! MS is a tough deal! They obviously don't want to lose anymore players ad we won't pay. 27m! There are players being

This was the order of Gards updates yesterday starting from Bottom going to Top. Personally think he meant to put the third update before the 2nd one since he continuing sentences don't make sense.

If that's the case then he is saying people have mentioned JG but he is unsure if true. Or could be unsure if any good in which case I am retarded.

I rate Kane highly. Just think at 8-11m, Remy is right up Levy's street. He can play LWF too.
Don't rate him. Also not wise to have a player with a heart defect in a team that will be pressing hard most of the game, game after game. But that's besides the point really, I just don't dig this player.

If we pay more than £15m for MS I think I'll start following Dartford FC as my local team.

£27m

Funny gif removed. Thought I was in another thread.

So we're touting some of our players to work into the Schneiderlin deal according to Gards?

Remy is not right up Levy's street if he's failing medicals.
It's been suggested he has a knee issue on top of the heart thing, which would explain why it fell down at the very last minute, Liverpool would have been well aware of the heart thing prior to going so far on the deal.

As for Griezmann, I find it hard to think that was ever anything more than paper/agent talk, so call me unbothered by news of his impending transfer

First time checking into the ITK thread this season - surprised nobody has mentioned that Atletico have announced a deal with Sociedad for Griezmann according to the BBC.

Apologies if chat such as this is verboten. I remember ITK linking us with him.

I'd wheel out my 'swap deals never happen' argument but for the fact that we just did one with Swansea

Indeed...Levy got a feel for being creative and is probably on a roll....

Trying to second guess who Southampton might be interested in in terms of who we'd be prepared to move on though!

Yeah we will probably loose out on MS cause we acted not quickly enough.

Maybe it wasn't possible to seal a good deal earlier because others threw money on them but a bit depressing.

I really want to have the Schneiderlin/ Capoue midfield to start our attack from deep, I guess this would be perfect. Hoepfully he pushes for a move to Spurs!

Schneiderlin is pretty straightforward to me: we're not paying £27m, or indeed any combination of players or cash that's anything approaching that level.

Ironically, having been there since year dot, he probably deserves to get his big move & a fat contract, but I reckon we can fend alright without him. I'm gonna keep saying it but Schneiderlin in Poch's system created very similar numbers to Bentaleb in Sherwood's; and we've plenty of options in CM as well.

I would assume Chadli, Holtby, Lennon, Rose, Naughton, Dawson as potentials for Southampton, probably in that order. Maybe Dembele at a push or a loan for the likes of Bentaleb.

That's why stats are dogshit.

Morgan is way ahead of bentaleb.

We won't pay 27 million but lets remember the quotes in the press were higher for Lallana and Lovren than what they ended up going for...so there's every chance we could still get Schneiderlin in a deal worth around 20 million if Poch wants him enough -which I hope and expect he does.
