In next week's column, Lawro is asked the following questions and gives the following answers:

Who will win the World Cup? "My answer. I genuinely couldn't tell you."

Will Man United revive under Van Gaal? "My answer. I genuinely couldn't tell you."

Will Lambert prove an astute signing for Liverpool? "My answer. I genuinely couldn't tell you."

Why do we pay you for expert opinion when you know f**k all? "My answer. I genuinely couldn't tell you."

"They go through manager after manager at White Hart Lane and I really can’t work out what they are looking for from the man in the dugout."

“Liverpool are reaping the benefits of giving Brendan Rodgers time to implement his ideas at Anfield.

“If he had finished seventh at Spurs in his first season would he still be in a job? It’s doubtful.”

Fact: Spurs under ENIC have appointed seven full-time managers, including Pochettino; in the same period, Liverpool have appointed five. A huge difference.

Did Liverpool reap the benefits of giving Woy and 'King' Kenny time to implement their ideas? And is it Bodgers' ideas or Suarez' goals that have returned them to the CL club?

Can I have your job, Droopy? I'm sure I can raise the money for the brain removal op.

Of course he declines to point out that 7th in Rodgers' first season was an improvement on the previous season.

He was on Monday Night Club last week and said the same thing.

On both occasions he answered the question 'do you think MoPo is a good choice?' by changing the subject and talking about Levy and how many managers we've fired.

On neither occasion was he actually answering the question, instead just grinding the pathetic axe he has for us.

For a proper answer, as a few have said, read Marcotti's article on ESPN. That is how you should answer the question. Does the squad match the manager's playing style? What will he need to tweak? Will he need to buy loads of new players? etc. You know, informative stuff that a pundit should know and want to use to educate his audience...

Of course, being the shit pundit that he is, I bet Lawrenson can't even name our starting XI, let alone all of the quality youngsters we've got and injured players we've had to cope with.

My view is that Liverpool have finally finished above us for the first time in about 4 years and he fucking hated them being below us, so he is now revelling in it.

I remember during that period his predictions always had us way, way below where we actually finished in the league and he could never be complimentary about us.

It makes me laugh when pundits like this plonker are put in a studio with proper journalists who have researched their opinions and know their football outside of the EPL.

I hope he and Marcotti are put in the same studio together very soon and the subject comes up again.

Utter, utter moron.

Im thinking of starting a petition to get that Chilean bird to do the predictions instead of Lauro for the BBC. She couldnt know much less about the footy and perhaps she could flash her bra with the colours of the team that she thinks will win each match, as she likes to do when Chile are playing?

Does anyone know how to give ten 'Likes' to one post?

There is a score predictions competition being run at my work for the World Cup, and there are 49 entries. The guy who is organising it has also been keeping track of Lawro's predictions and included him in the table.

The "football expert" is 41st out of 49 :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

May I be the first to welcome Lawro back and call him a massive prick with absolutley no idea about football :) wanker.

West Ham v Tottenham
I find it a little bit strange that West Ham's owners have told manager Sam Allardyce that they want to see more entertaining football this season, because that has put him under pressure already.

Good football or not, Allardyce knows that if he makes a bad start to the season, they will be chasing him out.

After winning promotion in 2012, Allardyce took West Ham to 10th in 2013 and 13th last season

Andy Carroll's latest injury won't help matters but it should not surprise anybody - I think his problem is as fundamental as the top half of his body being too heavy for the bottom half.

What West Ham want
What I think West Ham's owners want is for their team to pose a real attacking threat, especially away from home. They want that progression in their third season in the top flight but, for Sam Allardyce, it will be a very difficult thing to provide.

Allardyce is a manager who sets up his team to be strong defensively and a threat from set-pieces. Now he is going to have to almost reinvent himself as a manager, after changing his West Ham team around over the summer. That is going to cause him a lot of problems.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are starting the season with another new manager but I think Mauricio Pochettino will prove a successful appointment.

Spurs are looking at a top-six finish again and I can see Pochettino playing the same type of pressing football he did at Southampton to get it.

Pochettino is very good at the tactical side of the game and he also improved a lot of players that were under him at Southampton.

If he improves what he has got at Tottenham, then they will have a very good season. My only concern for them at the moment is where the goals are going to come from.

Lawro's prediction: 1-1

Liam's prediction: 1-2

To be fair to Lawro, That's not as stupid a comment as some may think. Carrol has put a lot of weight on his top half recently.

Dickhead...always a dickhead.

He better be wrong as usual. We need a strong start while Poch's style takes a bit of settling in and the WC players have had virtually no preseason and probably won't be match fit. Plus its the Spam and we need to shut those pikey fuckers up!

TBH, I wouldn't take a draw if you offered it, but I do think a score draw is on the cards.

Fucking BS anyway, I've got to go to my Mrs's Grans Birthday. I might sack it off but I might have no sack left if I do.
