A loan deal with an option to buy would be the ideal situation for us regarding Remy, we can send them the beast for a year and we get Remy

I call bullshit on Remy being on £80k pw, it just seems too high. Newcastle would've had to be paying a large chunk of that for QPR to let him go there, and I can't see Newcastle doing that. I'm sure the most they would've paid is around £50k pw and even then QPR won't be letting a player not play at their club for a whole season and still pay £30k towards him. They could have another decent player on their books for that kind of money.

I'd say he's probably on about £50-60k pw at most, and probably wants about £80k pw. I can't see us paying him that much.

I'm pretty sure at the time it was reported that Remy was on the verge of signing for newcastle for £40000pw until QPR offered him £60000pw

To be fair how many Londoners with a decent job and a nice house, comfortably settled and enjoying a nice lifestyle would jump at a chance to give it all up and move to Hull?

QPR did pay crazy wages when they first came up so it is possible.

And never rule out anything where Harry's concerned. He didn't rate Jenus when he was here but signed him for QPR.

Some maybe but I wasn't talking just about footballers, would you move to Hull to work if you had a guaranteed job where you were?

Anyway look at Dawson, AVB wanted to sell him and he could have moved then but he thought he could win his place back and he did and AVB admitted he had made a mistake thinking of selling him. He probably isn't thinking about Hull because he feels he can do it again with us, so it's not even a consideration of playing or not playing

The Italian Job eh... wonder if its ins (Destro?) or outs (Vlad? Sandro?)... Maybe more likely to be outs since the name of the song is "Get a bloomin move on"

If the Goat means Destro I don't really see the point, is he any better than what we already have or a significant upgrade?
