That line up just stinks of mediocrity to me. Harry must be looking at out starting line up and thinking what has gone wrong!

2 defensive midfielders at home to QPR? Is this really what we have become?!

Same old problems today I reckon. We will once again create next to nothing.
Yeah. I'll be sure to bring this up again in 2 hours when we've smashed them.

It's a good lineup

Think the thread "Have we been left behind?" Has been answered with that line up.

I think we will struggle to beat QPR at home let alone challenge for champions league places and trophies.

7th place beckons. Very disappointing isn't it.
Can you go and support Chelsea or City instead of poisoning the White Hart Lane atmosphere?

2nd league game and the 2nd week of the season, why the negativity? If this was November/December fine, but we're still in August and the transfer window is still open FFS.

Mate, seriously, the only thing disappointing is that you haven't broken all of your fingers, preventing you from posting your inane, repetitive, and asinine thoughts on here. For the love of all that is good and right in the world, please naff off.

Yours sincerely

Everyone else in the whole wide world.

I see Jimbo's back on the Match Day thread -

- what little gems and pearls of wisdom will he have for us today I wonder!

Come on Jimbo, you've got Lilywhite blood in your veins, your love for the club runneth over and your knowledge and understanding of Poch's thinking is without equal.

So I guess you're going for a defeat again, just like last week eh?

I think we are average and have gone backwards.

We were very fortunate against west ham and today I can only see much of the same.

Inept and stale going forward.

FYI in the elbow rooms and will be making my way to the ground in about 15 mins and allmy mates here think the same as me.

Former Blackburn striker Jason Roberts, BBC Radio 5 live summariser at White Hart LaneTottenham v QPR (13:30 BST)
"The question is: What does Mauricio Pochettino have to do to be judged a success at Tottenham? Many people would say he needs a top-four position, but if you look at what other clubs have done in the transfer market this summer, it doesn't look like he has the kind of squad to challenge.

"I don't think he's got the team playing with the high intensity and pressure he had at Southampton. I think that will be difficult with the squad he has."
Just read this bit from Jason Roberts, with the last sentence is he trying to say that we havent got as good a squad as Southampton had last year........! Pundits are genuinely complete thickos at time!!

Bentaleb doesnt get near a top 4-5 side though ? Wouldn't even make any of their squads, all very well being patient but we at spurs are not patient and we want to play in champs league asap, we can't afford to be patient and let teams smash us 5 and 6 because we are nabil learn his trade in middle of the park. He isn't ready yet
What's your problem?

Because Bentaleb was the reason we lost all those games by 4 or 5...

I think you're seriously underrating Bentaleb. It's been said a lot on the site how good he is and how there's more to come. Yes the top 4-5 sides have better players at the moment but Bentaleb is still good and is going to keep improving. He's ready now for sure.

We've been 4/5 last few seasons and this kid has only played a handful of games.
Poor quality post from yourself.
