Happy with the squad. Only change I would of done is play Soldado without a shadow of doubt over adebayor. And maybe dembele over bentaleb but I feel nabil deserves the start because he has actually been impressive.

Very curious to see how chadli starts, really hope he has it in his locker because I'm 50-50 with him.

No need to be a dick . Everyone's allowed an opinion we don't live in North Korea

There's opinions, and then there's gooner Jimbo's posts I'm afraid. And keep your name calling to yourself, boy

Anyway, I'll focus on the match rather than waste my time with you :)

I don't think he's saying that.

I think he's saying Southampton's squad/team were better equiped to play high intensity pressing game, and i think he has a point as looking at their squad in the key areas they are all agile, and mobile, not sure we are quite there yet.

But we certinaly have better technical players, now Poch just needs to try and marry the two.
It's such lazy punditry though. Was there anyone in the world go thought Lambert could be turned into an archetypal pressing striker?

Yeah i remember a Schneiderlin (SP?) interview where he said Poch even managed to get Lambert to run about more.

So there's hope for some that they can force their way in even if they're not the most mobile.

Some of you forget Bentaleb is only 19. Much more to come from him IMO with the right training and development. He certainly isn't exactly a waste of pitch space now.

Right this is my last post until after the match.

I can't believe the level of happy clappers on here.

So you all rate bentelab, capoue, Kaboul, chadli worthy of a place in the first team of a champions league challenging club? Do me a favour.

The only top players we have in this line up is Lloris and Eriksson, maybe Ade if he decides to turn up.

Massive question marks over Lamela. I'm sorry I've seen nothing from him

But dare I question our strategy? I believe we have gone backwards. That is all.

Coys.

I'm not sure why everyone is slating this post. It expresses an opinion. Yes, the phrase 'happy clappers' is a bit provocative, but at least the post ends with COYS. The time to be a happy clapper is when the match starts - in between games I don't see anything wrong with expressing opinions about the quality of the squad.

Wouldn't call it happy clapping. I would call it supporting the team. How about waiting until the match is over before spreading your doom and gloom. Cheers.

Sorry if it's already been answered but...

Where's Vorm? Why's he not on the bench?

Right, enough of this negative bullshit, it's out first home game of the new season, everyone should be pumped up for this, it's a decent looking starting 11 and now it's time to get behind the lads.

COME ON YOU FUCKING SPURS!!!!
