A real shame that he wasn't good enough in the end. The lack of loyalty in football nowadays pisses me off no end but Dawson seemed to genuinely love the club, a rarity in the modern game. Can't deny my sadness at him leaving but it was the right move for the club and for his career.

Everyone isn't good enough in the end, and unfortunately it's time for him to move on. It is best for all involved I hope he thrives up there.

End of an era. He never gave less than 100% and will always get a massive welcome at WHL. Good luck for the future and a huge thankyou for everything you've done for our club Michael.

Top player...I know the move is best for all parties but can't help but hold a little sadness that he's gone.

Coincidentally, I gave pretty much exactly the same reaction as when Boxer got sent to the glue factory in Animal Farm.

Would like the whole squad to parade in front of him and in complete unison, give a perfect Adebayor salute!

Thank you Daws and good luck for the future.

Was a favourite player of mine for many years for his heart and commitment. Great player for is over the years. Sadly though it time to move on for everyone. Wish him good luck at his new club.

Was the right time for him to go but despite his limited talents compared with many he more than made up for it with effort and commitment. Never saw him give less than 110%

A Spurs legend

Thank you Daws. I'm glad we're moving forward generally, but really gutted at the same time. I hope he does really well at Hull and I can't wait for the Spurs v Hull match at the Lane.

He's a Spurs legend for sure, if not for his talent, for his immeasurable passion for the club and undying heart. Only one Michael Dawson.

Although I think now was the right time for him to move on, I'm still gutted that he has gone.

He is a proper pro, plays the game the right way and always gives 100% on the pitch. He is the type of role model kids should be looking at and the type of role model football needs more of.

I wonder if any of the current crop will stay around and remain as popular for as long.

Never seen a bad word written about him. The kind of player you want representing your club. Gave everything, never complained, always seemed proud to wear the shirt.

Good luck michael!

Yes, this feels as bad as I thought it would. :(

sandrosmydad, there is a rumor that you are no longer into fecophilia. Please hit agree if this is true and disagree if not true and you still enjoy eating feces and masturbating. Thx
