Sorry to disagree but Davies is nothing special from the games Ive seen him in vorm is ok as back up although he will be first choice next season when Hugo leaves.
And as for time yes trying to bust into the top four was never going to happen this year or win anything i Agree but come on there has not been any progression under poch We are shit at the back cant pass or move with any fluency And are over reliant on kane who would get nowhere near any decent team.
Three defeats at home to sides We should beat and playing woeful football We are getting worse and to top it he spouts the same shit after every game it results based if you cant get them you go.
Like i have already Said in earlier threads pulis done it in the space of a few weeks last season this Guy has done nothing.
The expectations for Pulis were very different.

The expectations for Pulis were very different.

Yes pulis had a brief to keep them up in which case his achievements were more impressive then considering how quick he turned it around gaining 40 plus points out of about 45 i think.
Again i say we have not proggresed one bit if anything got worse now like all of us i Hope he turns it round but it looks like we have hired another Ramos.

J-Rod still wouldn't have been able to play though Thinky, can't blame that on the board, you don't buy an injured player.
You're right, he was a January prospect wasn't he? Still would make a huge difference even if he came in Jan though. Hope we still go in for him.

I like him as a player, i just worry we don't get the space in behind that Southampton were afforded at times, the space which he took advantage of so much.

How to fuck up a great opportunity playing a team we should have beaten easily while Goons and Scousers both lost.

And how do we react ? We show we are even shittier.

But that Spurs.

Football is really a f@@king simple game. You play your best 11 players every week. Which means soldado and lamela. FFS these two players have never got a chance here. You also tell people who don't want to be there to pack there bags and F off.

His work rate is all I'm thinking of at the moment. That would do for starters, mate. We're fucking desperate for workers, I mean those who can really graft as well as craft. Desperate.

Anyone see Lamela gob his water all over the Stoke physio's bag after stealing a drink?
I do like this boy's attitude adjustment, I must say.

He needs to still do things simple - please coco, just simple - but I love how he's becoming a xxxx. :D

Not that it probably would have mattered but was anyone else as pissed off as I was when the ref blew for a foul by Lamela on Shawcross when he just out muscled and out jumped him? What got me so pissed off is that Shawcross did exactly that to Kane for their 2nd goal but I suppose that's classed as good old fashioned centre half wanting it more.

I hear you, we do need grafters but we also need a decent game plan pronto, we all thought Kane would spark something today but everyone was just as bad off the ball as usual, if not worse.

Not sure what poch is up to with his picks; dunno if he's trying to expose how inadequate the squad is or he's just making the wrong choices and being seduced by the image of players rather than what they're doing match-to-match.

Soldado should have started today instead of townsend. We simply have to go with where the chemistry is at and not try and force things that aren't working.

Don't get it; but I'm intrigued at what January will bring irt outgoings...maybe it will help explain his actions.

I don't know, I seem to remember being ripped to shit plenty of times under him and looking drastically poor.

In fact, I still remember the rage that SC was going through, it shame that too many people seem to forget things so quickly. I don't.

Short memory is our speciality.

I think we've got a bunch of players that think they're too good for the team and can't be bothered to play for each other. That's the problem we have. We also don't have any talismans any more because they've all been sold off to Madrid. I wasn't sure about Poch to start with, I think it was a mistake to get him in, but I don't blame him for what's happening today. Poch was always going to have the most difficult job of all - picking up the pieces from all the Levy-headed Committee fuck-ups.

Spot on. Even when we're losing you can see them still everyone doing flashy shit instead of attacking the game with intention and doggedly trying to get back into it with everything they've got. They just expect to stroke it around and it will inevitably come.

Bastard shite attitude.
