As long as nobody was hurt in any way then I'm not too upset that the owners of Archway have had some bad luck. Wouldn't actively wish a fire upon them, but in the same way that I wouldn't lose any sleep if Donald Trump was declared bankrupt tomorrow, find it hard to have much sympathy for that bunch of ne'er-do-wells (on the assumption that no one was injured).

Personally I don't think there is any bad luck about it. They will get a double payout. Insurance claim for fire and a CPO payout.

I might be a bit if a cynic but all the stuff coming from Archway is a bit think.

Now i'm no arsonist but if I was doing this to speed up a CPO I would not leave two petrol cans lying around as evidence

unless I wanted to make sure the public were convinced it was arson and leave the owner looking very innocent

this stinks of a conspiracy to me

I'm convinced that the Josips organised this. They're the only ones to gain from this. Spurs can't gain from it, after 10 years there's no way the Josips would give up a potential 20m deal because of a fire which is covered by insurance anyway.

The media seems to believe the fire was started on the second floor. I heard there were some tables stacked in the back, below an open second floor window. This should clear us from any involvement, as it is well known that we aren't capable of climbing a table these days :asshat:

What does this alleged behaviour have to do with the club?

Eh? I never said it had anything specifically to do with the club. But Spurs fans as a whole get a bad rep.

We've seen it on here before, Liverpool fans being called X, Chelsea fans called Y for things a minority have done.

As a Spurs fan, I'm ashamed to be affiliated with the same club.

Or...is it just one big bluff...while they get away with retiring on insurance money and a CPO pay off....

Probably not, but they are laying it on pretty thickly. And making comments to the press while emotional instead of to the police in an investigation.

Just need the police to do their job, so much CCTV up Paxton and then hopefully we can move on...

Thanks Daniel.

Thanks Daniel.
Simply making a point that condemning Spurs/Spurs fans without a shred of evidence at the moment is premature, and there are other options that are as logical.

Such as;

Accidental factory fire

Insurance job by the company or someone they have got to do it.

Basically no-one knows, and in my opinion it is just as likely to be a Spurs fan as it is a random arson attack or a insurance fraud.
