Agreed, think he needs to look up a bit more too. Sometimes it would be easier for him to play a pass than take pot shots. He runs down blind alleys too much too, or tries to take 3 men on when he could just dink it across to a comrade. Needs coaching a bit more. There's a very good player in there.

Tbh I don't mind that he at least has a go, as he's the only one of our players who can do it with pace and decent dribbling skills. Kane has the aggression and confidence, and alright dribbling, but he lacks the excessive pace. We need that aggressive presence Townsend supplies. But I absolutely agree he needs to still improve with keeping his head up.

Or maybe utd have tired due to us having 80% possession for most of the game, depends on what agenda suits.

nah its about intelligent players like rs9 dragging defenders away to create space for others thus stretching the defence. opposed to ade clogging up the lanes, making pointless 1 touch passes and not making the off ball runs

It'll be a much more open game next time. They have no choice but to attack, which will leave them less organised at the back. Just got to make sure we win this one.
However they could take their chances with set pieces whilst remaining hard to beat. That's why a 2+ goal difference would have been ideal

I think he's been much improved second half too. It is good to see him taking players on, agreed. We seem to have a load of other players who end up passing backwards, when an aggressive, pacey attack would be the better option. Just not ll the time!
