They look terrible this season. In the past they've looked good (creating chances galore but just fucking them up), but due to their deficiencies in front of goal and a somewhat poor defence, have always given us a chance, but this season they actually look awful. Their passing has gone to shit and are therefore not creating as much and if Sanchez get's injured I think they'll be fucked.

Cue them clicking and not losing a game till the end of the season

Not sure that really hinders Arsenal though.... Out of 33 games this season, Arteta has only played 11 times, Debuchy 14 .

Do they need to play west brom again? If not pullis would have probably instilled the let take chunks out of them if they get near us and a couple more will be added to the treatment table.

Not sure what Wenger is planning to be honest.

Letting go of Podolski and Sanogo when one of their main two is in a goal drought and the other has had injury issues.

Being linked to Hummels, yet I can't see him going there.

Bringing in a 17 year old, when they need someone now, not in 3 years.

They may well go and spend big on their defence, however Wenger always seems to weaken one area and strengthen in another. I can see how their fans get frustrated with him.

Sadly no as they still seem to have the mentality to pull themselves up when needed.

We need to show good mentality now and make sure our win against them counts by beating the teams we should be beating (unlike after Chelsea win...).

They usually seem to finish the season strongly. Hopefully this season will be a bit different.

Arsenal are always slipping and always clutching and always above us.

I know this thread was started a long time ago but until we end up above Arsenal and in the top 4 and they out of it, can we really bring up an otherwise wildly optimistic, near foolish topic.

One could hope the bloodbath continues with City being dragged down into it and Southampton also in it until the end. Don't like West Ham and they really don't look like they can do much from here, but if it was Chelsea/Spurs/Saints/Spam that would be hilarious. All the ****s but Chavs out of CL. Start evening out the playing field.

They will be there or there abouts come the end of the season. The gap between us (last season apart) hasn't been that big. Hopefully we can maintain some end of season form and hold them off.

That late strike does somewhat change the momentum of the tie I fear

At 2-0 down in the home leg they're all but out and Monaco are cruising toward the next round

But suddenly in injury time Monaco have their lead cut in half and will have to think twice about their progression

It could be argued that it will stop them from being complacent at home but personally I think it gives impetus to Arsenal and they will have more belief away to go all out for the goals they need while the shadow of doubt it gives Monaco will encourage them to defend what they have more and try to hang on allowing Arsenal to attack and probably end up sneaking through

Although to be fair Monaco already seemed to have a sit deep and counter attack mentality last night and were very effective at it and a goal for them (which they look more than capable of getting) would make Arsenal's task that much harder

I just wish it had stayed 0-2

You know it was 3-1, right?

Your post doesn't read like you're aware?

You do know it finished 1-3 don't you? With away goals that means Arsenal have to go there and score at least 3 unanswered goals in normal time. I just can't see them doing that. If Monaco score then it's 4 to win it.

"You might have to sedate me"

Erm, isn't that what happens as soon as you walk into the Emirates??

And moaning about players like Alexis being knackered - we've played more games this season and our players don't stop until the final whistle.
