I had a look around to see who's posting it on Twitter... Main chap I found was this guy.

Schneiderlin to Arsenal is edging closer after #afc have finally reached an agreement with #saintsfc. Manchester Utd still keen #mufc

Murray Groves ‏@MurrayGroves
Schneiderlin deal likely to be in the region of £24m. Arsenal is preferred destination. Tottenham bid not reached valuation.

I'm not confident, and don't think it'll be Kramer either. Imbula seems the most likely, however, Southampton may now have money to spend and a midfield vacancy, plus have been linked with Imbula this week.

Im sure we have a plan if we cant manage to bring in anyone decent, whatever the club does we cant stick with bentaleb and mason.
Nothing against either but as a pairing i didnt think they worked well enough to leave as a permanent fixture.

The fact that it is on Saints board and arseanl board means nothing except that someone on the arsenal board has read the saints just like its on here now so any arsenal fan seeing it would think its true cos its on a Spurs forum.
Even if its true it don't mean a thing, we can agree a fee and then its back to square one plus of course if our ITK is correct and Pochottino is talking directly to the player we must have an understanding with the club too.
I have done some negotiating in my time and one thing you don't do is give up just because you hear a rumour about a competitor, as I recall we'd agreed a fee for some Brazilian geezer a couple of seasons ago now he's a chelsea sub so you never know.

No idea who that is but "Tottenham bid not reached valuation" sounds about right.

Clutching at straws tbh. MS won't be moving to us. It's either Arsenal or Utd and it looks like Arse. We need to accept it and move on, as fans and as a club.

Honestly though I fully expect Levy to miss out on obtaining the correct alternatives.

We will end up with some third rate sh*te.

I've said before and I will say again. I honestly expect Poch to walk sometime next season. We will get a temp manager in and recruit someone again next summer... The spurs cycle continues.

Massive signing for the Scum, along with Cech that's basically their 2 weaknesses dealt with if they come off. So sad that we're such a long way behind them, hard to see us ever finishing above them again.

Oh crap doesn't sound good. Arsenal have really turned it around in transfers if they pull this off as well as Cech. They'd then be a Benzema or Higuain away from being excellent. You used to be able to rely on them shooting themselves in the foot by leaving key positions weak (GK, DM).

You really think Poch will walk out on a 5 year contract and say good bye to £10 million? I don't think so.

Being beaten to a signing by a club with more money for transfers and wages and that is in the Champions League?

That's very much 'so any team outside the top 4'.
No. Being beaten to the only signing our manager really, really, really wants by our bitter rival that we've been after for 2 summers now where the only problem was Levy refusing to fork up a few extra pounds to back his manager all in the name of no net spend.

Yes. I do. Once the window passes by and he hasn't got the players he wants, and is left with the players he doesn't want.

He's a great manager, he will have offers from other clubs by the time it rolls around.

The only silver lining could be that Levy would be firmly in the spot light as a failure once again, and maybe, just maybe might get the boot. You've got to have some hope!
