No. Being beaten to the only signing our manager really, really, really wants by our bitter rival that we've been after for 2 summers now where the only problem was Levy refusing to fork up a few extra pounds to back his manager all in the name of no net spend.

Ah yes...soooo Spursy.

Just like the last time this happened....ummmmmm....yes the last time Arsenal beat us to a player.....ummmmmm.....

Not really, you are having little heart attack over some random guy on twitter.
Well whatever, Schneiderlin won't be signing for us unless he's 100% sure that he has no chance of a move elsewhere. Whilst there's an outside chance of him going to the scum or Utd he'll not say yes to us. Actually he might say yes, he can always change his mind at the last minute, look at Willian

Murray Grove is a place in 'Oxton N.1. Woolwich country but with plenty of Spurs lads I know from down that way.

Nevertheless the ropes and razorblades are coming out in SC land.

No I'm not. AsEverlasting Seconds just said, I've been saying this for weeks. I fully expect Poch to walk eventually.

Quite frankly, if Poch were to walk over not signing MS I would say good riddance, it should be more a case of man up Poch and get on with the job.

He wants Martial as well, we won't get him. He wanted Musachio, didn't get him. Once an offer comes from another team where he senses a feeling of being backed by the chairman to get key players he wants, he will walk trust me.

As things stand Poch had/has more chance of getting the players or type of players he needs at Saints.

Yes. I do. Once the window passes by and he hasn't got the players he wants, and is left with the players he doesn't want.

He's a great manager, he will have offers from other clubs by the time it rolls around.

The only silver lining could be that Levy would be firmly in the spot light as a failure once again, and maybe, just maybe might get the boot. You've got to have some hope!
Levy wont get the boot. He's a part owner of the club. Only way to get rid of Levy is if him and Lewis decide to sell.

Poch will walk soon when he doesnt grt backed and when we sell Lloris this summer.

I'm not saying it's a given that you are wrong, because it isn't. But I do think you over rely on highly questionable reports.

To a bigger club perhaps, or be sacked for poor performances of the team or poor league finish but not because he's fed up. He stayed at Español despite considerable financial constraints and even at Southampton was faced with squad decimation had he stayed, but we came along

It will be a bigger club. Or a club on a similar level that will back him at a better level than we can/will.

Who? Perhaps.

But I don't think he'll "walk" because we didn't sign players he wanted.

Also, I don't think Schneiderlin at £24m represents good value for money IF there are viable alternatives but accept he is the sort of player we need.

This would of been such a massive signing for the Club on so many levels.

Feels like and utter kick in the balls after the guts of a year, he could be joining our rivals that will strengthen them considerably.

I know shit happens, and we'll move on to other targets but fuck me it doesn't half feel like a complete kick in the bollox.

I don't think that Poch would walk, and even if I did I don't think this would be what makes him walk.

From all we're hearing from ITK's and how we've set up this season and all of that, it sounds like we've gone for Schneiderlin but we don't want to pay that much because we don't have that much just casually lying around. It seems to be that the transfer fee is the main stumbling block and sadly Arse are happy to pay it. Add that to them being in the Champions League and all that then it makes sense that Morgan would go there. So yes Poch doesn't get who he wants, but not like it's his or our fault.

The MAIN question will be if we have a poch approved alternative lined up and if we're able to get him.

Merson's had his say.

http://www.thesportreview.com/tsr/2...aul-merson-cautious-over-morgan-schneiderlin/

“They need a holding midfielder. Do you go and get Schneiderlin?”Play With A Legend ambassador Merson told The Sport Review.

“We saw what happened with Liverpool. They bought three Southampton players and nothing happened. It is a lot different playing for Southampton than it is for Arsenal – that’s the problem. Schneiderlin is a decent player [though].”

On speculation linking the Gunners with a swoop for Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, Merson added: “People tell me about the lad at Monaco, but I can’t pronounce his name!”
