Not getting at Trix at all but unless he's actually talking specifically to MS'S agent I'm not sure how they would know the detail of the situation. I've known some high profile agents through my job and they only really know their own players, the rest is just glorified gossip.

Both trix and JJ consistently have quality info so don't really care how who knows what tbh, as long as the info is righteous.

There are no snippets relating to 'pacey but shit Victor', there's just something so thin that Bob Geldof is thinking about having a concert for it.

trix:
As things stand Ourselves, Arsenal and Yanited have all declared an interest in signing MS, and both PSG and Citeh have asked to be kept informed of any developments. He is our first choice option, where as it appears he is not for any of the other cubs and they are all actively chasing other options with MS being their plan B. This is what we are hoping is our USP, and it sounds now as if MS and his agent have set a deadline for concrete offers. IE make me an offer or get off the pot. Arsenal I'm told are confident of Vidal and are holding out to make sure he comes through this tournament first.
It is not the case that he has chosen anyone as yet and he has said he wants to wait and weigh up all his options, but it is assumed(by us) that should he get a concrete offer from either of the others he will go there. He is not however willing to hang around for weeks only to be blown out for Vidal for example. Deadline is this week so we are still very much in with a chance, although it is as much in the hands of others as it is in our own.

Have to say the most surprising thing to me about this is that City are only asking to be kept up to date on any developments.

With how desperate City are for homegrown players you would think that MS (who counts as HG) would be higher up the list especially while they are looking at the likes of Wilshire and Delph.

Here we go again...

[mind blown] What if Poch and his team want Moses, and the club are backing the manager [/mind blown]

It seems like every time someone doesn't agree with a transfer rumour it must be DL's fault....

The one consistent person in failed transfer dealings over the years has been Levy. It's no wonder fans are holding him to account. Remember the season we lost Modric and the failed Moutinho fiasco? Remember Saha and what's-his-name? Remember all those net spend years? It looks like this might be shaping up into another of those years when the failure to bring in decent players is placed elsewhere.

Trix has now said that Moses may be a viable option for the Club. From Martial to Moses. Sounds like a Levy move to me.

Tbf Kono and Moses are the type of player we don't have someone who can on their day weave a bit if magic and shimmy through an 11 men behind the ball defence. We have players that can try and pick that pass and fund Kane or hit it from distance but sometimes someone who can drop the shoulder with a bit of trickery in the last five minutes is what's needed and to my mind we don't currently have it

Part of the excitement of the transfer window is chasing targets; losing them - sometimes - getting new ones; seeing how they fair etc. I'm just happier knowing there appears to be a Poch agenda to finding HIS choices... Gutted if MS has flown, but there'll be others

Part of the excitement of the transfer window is watching all the suicide notes in this forum!

I'd guess City have an 'A list' of homegrown players such as Sterling, Wilshere and Pogba(?), and then alternatives such as Schneiderlin.

I know :D

The problem is some people have left dozens of the fuckers scattered about in various threads over the years. Makes the boy who cried wolf look like a bastion of integrity.

I don't know if someone has said this (TBH reading the pages back was a bit of a weird experience), but I think one of JJ's tweets strongly suggests that we want Alderweireld. I'm going to have to copy them again to make my point.

So this guy asks:

thisisJME ‏@jamie_d_9 15h15 hours ago
@jetsetyid @danieljohn4 @Adam79Suter what about the Toby and kono rumours truth in any ?

To which JJ replies:

The original JJetset ‏@jetsetyid 15h15 hours ago
@jamie_d_9 @danieljohn4 @Adam79Suter wait and see

So that suggests that there is truth in one of them. However, when someone asks

DJ THFC ‏@danieljohn4 15h15 hours ago
@jetsetyid @jamie_d_9 @Adam79Suter is kono a target?

JJ says:

The original JJetset ‏@jetsetyid 15h15 hours ago
@danieljohn4 @jamie_d_9 @Adam79Suter really dont think so unless something has changed?

Which leaves Alderweireld by process of elimination.

Again, sorry if someone has said exactly what I have said.

The expectations aren't too dissimilar - like the room with the view episode:

Guest: "When I pay for a view, I expect something more interesting than that."
Basil: "But that is Torquay, madam."
Guest: "Well it's not good enough."
Basil: "Well may I ask what you expected to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain..."

It would be nice to have some positivity towards transfers, rather than "he's rubbish". After all, no one rated Sturridge when he was in the same situation as Moses, but he's done alright since (injuries aside, but that's par for Liverpool).

Whispers - I don't think Moses is that bad actually. It's Hazard that's keeping him out of the Chelsea team. he was injured for quite a lot of the season.

In the meantime, I think a lot will start to happen when people start reappearing at their clubs after the breaks. Hopefully the MS situation will be sorted sooner rather than later as Trix has said and we can progress alternatives if needed.
