If MS chooses us (assuming reports from ITK are true) over Man Citeh, Man Ure, Arsenal or PSG then that proves once and for all that football players are fucking stupid. And this from a die hard Spurs fan since 65'

Let's move along everyone, nothing new to see on this subject.

He isn't going to. The point is that the ITK says he currently has a choice of one (us). The other clubs have registered an interest but are holding out for other things. Schneiderlin is waiting but he isn't prepared to wait for long. If by the end of his own personal deadline for deciding his future were still the only firm.offer on the table, he will come here.

1. I don't think City and PSG are that serious, plus doubts about if he would want to leave the PL?
2. He may not have the choice of Utd or Arsenal since they have targets higher up their lists

He's not stupid, but he'd chose us over a stay at Saints I think.

We're are up and coming, young team, New Stadium under construction. Challenging the top 4. We are still a good move for MS, he knows the coach and we are in London.

To put the moses stuff entirely to bed and write it off jj said that it was laughable and he isn't an option as he confirmed it was wrong and so did gards...

Potentially we are waiting for others to stand still and look elsewhere. Why don't we throw a bid in and see either way better now than when the others may know they don't have a chance of their other targets? Glad we are still in the running though

Jasper on SO re incomings

Kono I don't think so. Toby likely is my belief. We went in strong for kono but too complex and difficult is what I was told earlier on. I hope it is a smokescreen. MS I thought was manc bound, but thought agreement with agents in place they have not submitted a formal bid. Told we only ones but terms of bid not agreeable with his club though price met. Have been given and have been permission talking to his people. Next week should be very interesting with this one as we have set a deadline. If still undecided we will move on with other targets. Moses' agents pushing him big time but we have not bid.

If we are only ones in for him how can he choose them? They haven't bid and we could be only ones at that time wanting him... If am honest we must be kind of confident as we seem to be holding out entirely for him until he makes his mind up

Maybe now would be a good time to gauge what the Man Utd supporters feedback is for the potential purchase of MS

trix again on ms/money: Told money is not an issue, we do not have to sell to buy him, and the hold up is purely down to MS making a decision. Cash flow may well affect anything later in the window but not this one.

Shinehead scaled the deal too hard then....not surprising. They will want most of the cash up front and are in a position to demand it.

Good.

Wonder how this fits in with Toby seeing as it looks like that one is very close? Surely going to cost us a fair few bob.

Logically we are the ones putting a deadline not MS. He is trying to get Utd to bid by his statements of making a decesion by the end of the week but if they don't and tell him there is still a chance if he waits I bet he will wait even if it means we are out of the picture. If he wanted to come to us he would have been here. Our deadline is the right move as not only do we need to move on but it is our best chance of getting him while others are still after their first choices. Ultimately either he will become a CL teams first choice or we would have moved on, either way doubt he is coming

So. Much. ITK. I hope the part about us setting a deadline on the MS transfer is true - there's been a lot said about a shift in transfer policy this summer, and this more than anything else would convince me of that.

You'd like to think if we can get him down to the new training ground and show him the stadium plans, we might be able to sell ourselves as a good destination.

And going by Jasper's latest shot of itk he has likely synced his deadline for them to take the plunge with ours for him to jump in with us.

When did JJ say this?
