We did pull off modric when others were linked.

Great to hear most itk seems to be in sync with one another and is very positive!

Good to hear that McCarthy wants to join us, I am hoping this is despite City's alleged interest.

Problem is City's interest helps Everton push the price up.

Maybe a long shot for Belgian forwards, but what about that Obi Oulare kid we were linked to a month or so back, playing at Club Brugge? He is like 18/19 years old, 6ft 5 and bags of pace. Getting a lot of likenings to Benturkey and Bukakku, would be a pretty low-risk transfer initially with the fee being probably around £5m-£7m? With the potential to become a monster of an attacker...

Or it could be Batshuayi...
Or Mertens...

Think so. Thing is, he has had a largely frustrating first season at Marseille. He was mostly benched due to Gignac's form.

Was very selfish at Standard though. Talent is there.

As a Belgian, I can't see any other candidates in the forward department other than Michy and Obbi Oulare of Club Brugge.
