I was impressed by the runs from deep by the fullbacks today, a real weapon.
Imagine if rose was playing

Thought we played well today, didn't give too many chances away and created some good opportunities. Promising signs for the season and make no mistake, this is a very good utd team that will be within 5 points of 1st with 5 matches to go. Walker was unlucky, got back and nearly saved us but Bentaleb, don't let this become a habit (I'm starting to lose count of the goals conceded through his misplaced passes). Yes, take risks with the forward passing, we need that creativity, but come on, not when we're outnumbered on the counter attack.
We did all right considering we did fuckall preparation and only had 2 rest days. Not surprised the error for the goal came from someone who'd played 70 minutes in Germany just 2 days before the start to the season. Good one spurs. Absolutely fantastic work there. Really. Good job!
I know you were agreeing, I was just sharing more German proverbs.Oh really? Ya think? I was actually agreeing with you and can see the wood very clearly: I am not at all disheartened by our display. Man U's strength is their forward line and we restricted that.
Do you honestly think that's how the rest of all our matches will go?we were a pretty average 5th last season and at the moment have huge holes in our squad, we played without any imagination or attacking flair today and ended up playing players out of position
Why is that short signted
And? You need to look at how you played, not the result.
Playing well and not getting the result is better than getting the result and playing like shit this early in the season. It's a far better indicator of future results.
Yep that's exactly how I think the season will go, based on last seasonDo you honestly think that's how the rest of all our matches will go?
That's what short sightedness is. You can't see the forest for the trees.
The point is that playing well is more predictive of future results than simply winning. That's the point. With a whole season left to play you want the best chances of future performance, not a result you didn't deserve.Personally, and I may be reaching here, I'd rather have won the game than lose and play 'well'. Winning is kind of the point.
And really how well did we actually play? We created next to nothing in the game, maybe 2 chances against a poor United performance who were there for the taking.
What the eff? You're using last season as a basis of criticism? Where we made a solid 5th place finish scoring the 5th most goals in the league and having some very poor defensive performances. Then you look at this game where it looks like we've improved quite well defensively and you think the future is bleak? That line of thinking makes absolutely no sense. It is not based on some type of fact whatsoever.Yep that's exactly how I think the season will go, based on last season
Maybe your a dreamer then because my thoughts are based on what's happened last season with the same manager and players , least my view is based on some type of fact

This was at Old Trafford again, against a side with enough attacking talent that people thought we were going to get whacked. Not sure what dominating performance you were expecting.I'd go for the victory send worry about playing better next week, thanks.
And again, we didn't play very well. We were passable, no better.
Toby was dragged out of position because we only had 2 players in our half, Walker and Davies were a good 30-40 yards away and although Walker sprinted back he did hesitate when we 1st lost the ball before trying to chase back... hesitation costs goals.
I do, but clearly you don't given that laughable statement. In fact, that has to count as Stupid Comment of the Week. If I were you, I wouldn't make that sort of thinking public. Oh, wait.....1 - 0 to United...do you understand what restriction means?
As we are sharing matters Deutsch, do you think one of Bastian's forefathers loved pigs in an unnatural way?I know you were agreeing, I was just sharing more German proverbs.
Uh-oh! here we go. One game and it's all doom and gloom. Man U didn't play us off the park.Watching MOTD last night only confirmed my worries about the improvement in teams below us last season mainly in pace and attacking options. Swansea, Crystal Palace, Villa , Leicester, even Norwich and Watford, seem to play at twice our pace and have several likely goalscorers in abundance and I wouldn't fancy our chances against any of them at the moment and we haven't seen Stoke, or Newcastle yet. Note, I am not even mentioning the top 4 + Liverpool who are 'away and gone' in my opinion.
