You can honestly say that with a straight face? It shows obviously you have missed the reasons for the various replies to his posts. The points of most of his posts are not in question, its how it is delivered. I am sure there are more suitable adjectives than donkey to describe Fazio who all be it limited, gave his best for our shirt.

I for one liked Fazio and would not have minded if he stayed, but I can see the logic. I hope his replacements prove themselves to be credible upgrades.

He's right about it getting boring. Your post was number 73 in today's thread. There were 24 posts before yours that were about Mike and his opinions.

Anyway, back to the ITK, wasn't Fazio seen as a bit of a leader in the dressing room? Does Toby bring that to the squad as well? With a young squad that leadership and experience can be pretty important.

Not super thrilled with the prospect of Fazio leaving simply because I believe every player coming from a different league deserves at least two seasons to determine if they are a fit. I thought Fazio was very good at times last year, but frequently looked a bit too slow for the league. But if Poch can live without him, I trust his judgment.

Same here. Would still love to sell Andros but that doesn't look like happening (Madness IMO but there we go)... To an extent I'd sell Dembele as well, but I think he's being kept on to keep all the Belgian's happy. It's well documented that him and Jan are BFFs

Personally I think the two you mentioned are good squad players and have attributes other players are lacking, Fazio just isn't in that category for me.

Good for a squad maybe, but both want to play, and we can't guarantee that. We also need £££ for targets and both would bring in around £10mill each. Dembele probably has high wages as well.

Looking likely Carroll will go.
I was in agreement with this initially but he's been great in pre-season at CAM.

One of a very few in our squad with the ability to see and execute a pass. There's a chance we could miss him.

Disappointing in my opinion. He was one of our best in preseason and offers the type of quick tempo passing ability at the edge of the area that few others in the squad possess. I thought he was significantly better than anyone else in the 10 role in preseason and deserved an opportunity based on that.

If Fazio was trusted and staying we wouldn't have signed both Wimmer and Toby. We don't need 5 centre backs, especially given we have talented young ones

Well lets hope we don't leave ourselves short in that department.
Considering he plays in the attacking midfield 3 whenever Poch has used him, I highly doubt we will be short. Add the imminent signing of N'jie and obvious inclusion of Pritchard (who is a much better player IMO and fits Poch's philosophy a lot more)
