If we have bera and njie on defenders won't push up as much as they will be aware that they will be done for pace if the attack breaks down
Poch wants all his players to press and track back. I assume he will only bring in players who can play to his system.
The anti football we'd been playing before has really bored me to death. Look at the filth, with Sanchez and Ox/Walcott either side, they play fantastic, exciting football.

And get beaten 0-2 against West Ham :D.

If he could cross, shoot and pass accurately that would also add so much to his game
I personally think that's a tad unfair as he does have the technical attributes to do all that but he's always been reliant on his pace that his game awareness isn't up to scratch.

Like I've said previously this season is make or break for him and he really needs to show improvement in these areas.

It's well known that the club like to see a player thread in here reach 100 pages before they announce a signing. (NB: organically. Spam will not count).

So, announcement due any time now, I'd reckon.

Who's been playing anti-football? Because I haven't seen any of that under Poch.

I don't see how pressing the opposition high and looking to dominate possession is anything but progressive attacking football.

Wasn't actually referring to Poch, but the dark ages under AVB and Tim. I think Poch will be our, saviour.

How is it a tad unfair?? He relies on pace and has next to no end product - due to the inaccuracy of his passing shooting and crossing - you say he has the ability to do this - based on what? As I have seen no evidence to support it. Ok he has the odd pass/cross/shot that is accurate but the sun shines on a dogs ass once in a while

I've seen an improvement in him, he seems to have more understanding with what's going around him now than he did say 18 months ago.

In the England friendlies in the summer I noticed his ability and awareness had improved, making good combinations with his full back.

Let's wait until the end of the season to see if he's made progress because we could discuss this for a while without a conclusion.
