Just for my amusement, if we sign both N'Jie and Berahino, how do people think we might line up?
Would both play or would it be one of them playing with either Chadli or Lamela?

I would like to see Berahino off Kane, with them alternating who plays 9 and 10 to confuse the fuck out of people. Eriksen on the left where he's generally more effective due to the extra space. And then it's a Chadli, Lamela, Dembele, Townsend, N'Jie free for all for who gets to play on the right.

At the very least it will put Chadli in particular under pressure for a place in the team which hopefully might see a Rose like improvement in him. We need 2 options for each position imo so I would imagine they will rotate Lamela, Chadli N'Jie and Berahino depending on form and the opposition. Our squad would be much stronger as a result. As for who would be first choice? No idea but I suspect Berahino at least would go straight into the team.

Yeah I think where Eriksen ends up is a big part of it. There seems to be an assumption he'll stay playing in behind Kane but I don't know if that's where he's most effective.
Generally though I suppose it's fairly good that we might be able togo:
Townsend/Lamela/Eriksen/Chadli/Dembele/Berahino/Pritchard/N'Jie

That would make him one of the highest earners and ahead of Ade's pay (which I think is reported to be £100k a week).
I think some places are saying it's £128k a month which is about £32k a week which seems good compared to a lot of modern player wages.

Eriksen is NOT a LWF and never will be. It took a few fans - and Harry as well - almost a season before they understood that Modric is a CMF and not a winger cum WMF
Eriksen showed again and again that he is not effective as LWF and often left big wholes defensively on the left side because his insistence on drifting inside all the time - which in itself is a proof that he is not comfty in that position.
