True! If jj is optimistic then that is always a good sign, but when I read "chill we got this" I instantly remember this being the most overused quote of deadline day, and nothing ever comes to fruition when that quote is used

Not picking on your opinion, it's just I was thinking about the possible autopsy results once the window has closed.
1. We sign no-one. Mass hysteria.
2. We sign Berahino. Meh, was expecting it anyway. He's not that good anyway.
3. We sign SB and Witsel. General feeling of success, with the typical few bemoaning that it's not Modric.
4. We sign Messi. Mass hysteria.
Story of our lives, season after season we are always a couple of players short of a full picnic

Can't believe some people are defending us if we don't get a CDM.
It's almost as crucial as bringing in a striker imo - Dier, Mason, Alli, Bentaleb is nowhere near good enough for a top 6 side.
Not sure where the DM's coming from though, now that the Witsel links have dried up...Hopefully some DM ITK is incoming

As great as JJ is we all have to remember that until it's on the official site then there's nothing to celebrate and I'm sure JJ will say the same thing. Not to put a dampener on things but try not to get your hopes up too much. We rarely finish the transfer window with everything we want. On the plus side we still seem to do well regardless. Usually someone steps up to the plate.
