Speaking only for myself, the concern is that we probably should have another 3-5 points than we currently do given the performances that have been put in, and that Poch is rotating much less than he was about 6 weeks ago.

Yes they've all had periods with injury, but Bentaleb has seen 48 minutes of football in 4 months, while Mason and Son haven't featured a great deal considering Eriksen's injury period. Yes Dembele has dug deeper and found something, but that's still one player counter-balancing a lack of rotation for 4 positions in midfield when we have depth, at least on paper. And then there's Kane, Vertonghen and Alderwerield who have played all bar about 5 matches worth of all possible appareances for all three players.

As fit and as capable as Alli and Dier are, they are young and they will tire over the course of the season. The squad needs to rotate more heavily in the congested sections of the fixture or key players will have no reserves to find come March and April when the race for the top 4 heats up.

We have a pretty deep squad and it seems that Poch has lost faith in some pretty key components of it, something that he needs to fix over the next 4 weeks with at least one purchase (i.e. a striker given N'Jie's condition) and finding minutes for others to see if they have some form.

When you invoke a negative stereotype, it's going to offend some people. I've learnt in life to steer clear just to avoid offending anyone. Using non-sexist and non-racist language is really easy to do.

As you say Yankspurs, you're not offended and I respect that. You've got to accept though that some Jews will be.

Can we pack the casual racism/blatant over-reaction up please. It's the transfer rumour thread, I'm sure half the stuff that gets said in here offends someone at some point, we just don't all need to hear about it.

Back on topic its funny how half the ITKs seem to think Berahino is a no go and the others think he is the anointed one. Considering how hard we tried in January im inclined to believe Trix (who clearly turns his Trix with the right people)

Roberto Martinez rotated against Stoke and Everton lost their shape and subsequently lost the match so its not always a good thing.

I think you will see some rotation especially when the EL kicks in anyway, just like last season Poch rotated heavily around February, the difference now is that we have a far better and hungrier squad to cope.

Agreed with the first part. Not necessarily the 2nd. Trix implied his info was from before Pulis publicized an issue with Berahino. That might have very well scared some sense into Poch on this one in that its probably not a good idea to bring in someone who could potentially disrupt the atmosphere in the dressing room he worked so hard to change.
