This will sound harsh but that's not good enough, not if we're supposed to be honestly thinking about the title.

We were very unlucky in terms of hitting the post but we should've been several goals up at half time, and second half we weren't great.

A decent result otherwise but disappointing given it was yet another chance of a win we've not taken.

Everton aren't a bad team though and they showed that in the second half. They weren't going to roll over like they did in the first half.

If we had another striker to bring on for Kane I think it would have helped. It was like playing with 10 men after 60 minutes. He was understandably knackered and needed subbing.

Well, feels like a good point but really, we should have won that in the first half.

Toby was ice cool in defence and needed to be as they looked really dangerous once Dela came on. Fucking Besic has his best game for Everton - constantly frustrated Son and Chadli who both looked way off it. Chadders especially (understandable I suppose).

We really need a target man back up for Kane. Just don't see where there's one on the market...

I thought we started slow second half and towards the end we look knackered, need a backup to Kane in my opinion, looks like he is feeling it now. All in all though a point is a point, not the best result but keeps us three points ahead of United, I really feel like if we are chasing the title though we should be winning this, especially against an Everton who are leaking goals, we looked stumped second half.

This is a notoriously difficult fixture for bigger teams, and now we have it out of the way.

Was thinking that prior to the match. A tough fixture that we've avoided losing. We move on and hopefully continue to pick u points as we've been doing up to now.

And there you have it. Again points dropped due to the lack of options.

Run our bollocks off, didnt capatalise when we should have. Nothing to bring on and freshen it up WHERE IT COUNTS.

Kane looks so fucked and we have no one else to play there at the top level.

Carroll, once again so far out of his depth. Lost count of the amount of FORWARD passes that were incomplete. You cant replace Dembele with Tom fking Carroll and expect to challenge for a title.

We wont have a chance like this for another ten years. Its gone now. We can celebrate widly if we finish fourth though....

A poorly performing Arsenal side are waltzing to the title without 4-5 key players.

Sickening.

I'm starting to think we should be looking at a target man to take the burden off Kane rather than Berahino.

If we ever want to go 2 up top we can shove N'jie or Son alongside Kane, but we do need someone to come in to prevent him tiring, there were concerning signs towards the end of that game.

A good point. Away at Everton who had their tails up after poor form, plenty of positives to be taken. Son and Chadli looked really poor when called upon. Carroll is a strange one, he clearly has lovely technique and a good football brain but the trade off is so big you wonder if it's worth it. I gets completely dominated a lot of the time. Barkley (who was fantastic for them) had Carroll on toast.
Subs did nothing for us today. Everton were stronger with theirs on the pitch.

Maybe we aren't at that level yet so not sure you're your evaluating the performance as if we are going for the title...

post, crossbar, etc -- Spurs deserved 3 points today, but a draw is still a point... everton no push over squad

Alli MotM with a shout to Hugo for that save securing the point.

Bit frustrated now after that. Very good first half, but after wondering if we could get back out there and replicate it, that was a poor second half for me. We played into their hands from the start of it. They gave up trying to battle for control of the game and wanted it to get to a furious tempo and end to end, with some of their players (Deulofeu, Barkley) not even tracking back to try and spring the counter. We just needed to play in the same calm, controlled manner and work openings. Instead we got too many mistakes and tried to force the play. In my opinion the subs also didn't help and in fact aided Everton, as they just made the game more open by sticking on more attackers with a poorer work rate.

A point is decent, but I feel we wasted a good platform in that game.

well, what a game. Disappointed we didnt get the 3 point. Should have killed the match of in first half. Fair play to everton in second though.

Our boys worked their socks of. Cant belive how many on here are giving carrol shit. He is yet a bit unexperienced and this was a high tempo game.
As someone mentioned I can probably understand why Son isnt starting. Not impressed with him today.

1st half Erikesn was alright.. I do not blame him on Everton's goal.. but at least I wished he had more showing coming out in the 2nd half.. getting anonymous too often, it is worrying..

Very disappointed with Son's showing. Really poor first touch, and I expected much more energy considering he arrived late. Getting out-dribbled back n forth like that by a fucking CB should be embarrassing for any winger/forward. I used to get hard when I saw a CB trying a dribble.

He worries me tbh. Is he the player who we saw when he first arrived, fast, hard working with a lethal shot? Or the the erratic player who has come back from injury, still pacy and hard working but, and it hurts me to say this, no better on the ball or more intelligent than Townsend.

We are not honestly thinking about the title from a position of being the strongest side or squad though so chill. The only reason we are in a position to talk about the title is our well funded rivals have spent loads of money but still have hugely flawed squads.

Everton are a good side and we missed our chance in the first half but given the squad we have and the progress we are making a point at Goodison is just fine. We missed Dembele today and still lack a little bit of nous opening teams up in the final third but lots of positives to take from the performance I thought

Only thing that worries me is we are looking like we give everything in the first half and let teams get back in as impossible to keep pressing like that for 90mins
