Personally I've seen nothing to get excited about from him as a player, but couldn't give a shit about the mud slinging though.

If he signs I will afford him the same courtesy I do for all Spurs players (half a game before I hate them ;) )

No, If we sign him I will be interested to see how he develops and adapts to our style/system and will be looking for the positives, not looking from an "i told you he was shit" position but from a "Come on you Spurs!" position.

Still not bothered if we get him though:D

Obviously most of us do not know any of the players personally or have contacts close to them so we base our judgements on what we have.
You may not agree and they may not be correct but people have a right to be concerned if they feel a player may have a shit attitude. Rightly or wrongly.

Seen a lot of gossip, rumour and conjecture but nothing to call him a shit about.

A modicum of truth? I doubt anyone would deny that, has he made mistakes? Almost certainly. Could he have handled his situation with Jeremy Peace better? Absolutely. But none of it is enough to warrant the plastic indignation at the thought of signing him. It doesn't make him a **** or a shitbag or anything else like that. Judge him on how he goes IF we sign him and not based on a series of half truths and rumours. I've seen a few stories praising him and his attitude since the summer, nobody is quoting them, its just the people wanting to leap on the bullshit bandwagon.

Even if the weight of your undoubted wealth of experience and hindsight is against him.

Do you really think that he is that good? I will admit that him and Kane in the U21's worked. BUT. Is it better than Kane and Dele? And can you ever envisage Poch playing 2 up front? I can't.

I don't want him at the club. I think he is a wrong 'un. You could be right and he joins us and has a personality transplant but I'm sorry. I doubt it.

Personally I think it's a moot point. He is never coming.

The info I got about him being a pain in the arse, and that this isn't isolated and goes back to prior breaking in to the first team, was from a player. I'd say that's a pretty well placed source/opinion and worth passing on. Up to others how they then judge him on all the evidence available. As I've said, if Poch wants him at a doable price for the club then you have to back him, but the couple of things I have heard don't really add up to a glowing reference character-wise and I haven't got a problem stating that...

I mean no offence mate, but unless your "ITK" is verified, it's no different than a stranger down the pub telling me it, which is usually the same source the rags get there "a source close to" info from.
