Not fussed if this collapses. If he comes in June we'll pay less in a tribunal fee than we would have this month. We have very little to gain by signing him now and loaning him back.

Even if we somehow did manage to bring him into the squad for the rest of the season, who honestly believes that Poch would prefer a 19 year old who is quite raw and lacks the fitness and coaching to immediately step into the system over Chadli, who is currently turning in great performances and banging them in as the Kane backup?

We’re told #THFC & #FFC are still talking over the Dembele deal. Fulham adamant over loan-back. Spurs adamant he stays at WHL.

If we don't get this jump start, United or Juve will offer much bigger wages in the summer.

Now the medical is done this deal could still be done a min before deadline. Wouldn't like to pay any more for him though as he won't really make any inpact this season

How interested are they really, though? You'd think if they were so intent on bringing him in that they'd blow us out of the water on wages then they'd have been in for him at a cut-rate price during this window, and yet I've seen no indication that that is the case. I'm not saying that he won't have other suitors but if he wants to come now I'd say we're in a fairly strong position to get him in the summer.

Surely we knew Fulham always wanted him to remain there?

Clearly Poch isn't happy with Chadli and Son as Kane back-up given we supposedly wanted Dembele in now.

Best have a plan B up our sleeves, maybe Mitchell can earn his corn.
Why didn't we go to Fulham on Jan 1st and ask for him? They weren't in the position they are now and this leaving it to the last 24 hrs fails every single time

I have a feeling a loan-back will be agreed with a reduced fee. Then again, I thought we would sign Berahino last summer on Deadline Day.

Thought it was completely odd that we would agree to loan him back when he's free in the summer. If player and agent were happy to agree to transfer now, think it would be strange that they wouldn't in summer.

Not so sure about that. Also we have a manager who gives young players a chance, a manager who improves players and that itself is a draw for anyone with their head screwed on

It's clear he wants out his not re signing so if Fulham sell him and loan him back the player does not want to be there anymore.

Thank god we've got some top secret inside knowledge, and he's willing to share it publicly on social media, what a find

Surprised no other source has picked up on this. Particularly some of the French ones. All just quoting sky sport for now

Orrrr

We may just want to get him up to speed for nxt season and do not see any benefits to him remaining at Fulham all sad like.

Nothing has changed, they still want to get a body in first. They have been struggling to do so which is why they want the loan back. Think this will happen either way but may be a late one. Everything financial and medical is already in place so it can happen quick
