However much we like to think it's because we have bigger fish to fry, if Fulham don't let him go for now it looks like we won't go ahead. Which says Poch desperate for a striker for the remainder of the season. We've probably left it too late once again

Can't say I'm bothered tbh. Paying 5m for him and leaving at Fulham for the rest of the season wouldve been ridiculous.

I don't think he would have provided better cover than Son as a CF for the rest of this season anyway. If we really do see something special in him for the future lets just wait until the summer and pick him up for less.

If he decides to go elsewhere in the summer because of money and doesn't see the benefits of being coached by Pochettino then he was never the guy for us anyway.

Sky are just posturing.

They say the deal is OFF (with big capital letters because thats what they do on deadline day) but tomorrow at 10.30pm the deal will be ON again.

Probably covering up for the fact were getting him straight away and not in july like they were reporting.

The press are late to the story as Windy reported the medical was Friday. He was spot on about the Serbian going to Bremen for 500K.

Would rather we screwed Fulham out of the money by signing him in the summer than loan him back and have to pay for him now.

I'd wait until the window closes before forming a judgement but failing again, late on in the window to land a target?

That would be hilarious :D

We'd still have to pay a tribunal fee. He could also go abroad for free. We'll see.

Surely we knew Fulham always wanted him to remain there?

Clearly Poch isn't happy with Chadli and Son as Kane back-up given we supposedly wanted Dembele in now.

Best have a plan B up our sleeves, maybe Mitchell can earn his corn.
