Seems every time the Panthers look like getting somewhere, they bottle it and the Broncos get a break - excellent stuff!
This Broncos team is showing a lot more fight than Carolina.
Now why in the world would you try a run on 3rd and 17 from there?!
I guess, although most of the turnovers tonight have been from runs, and there's not been much yardage from running it so far either so just seemed a bit of a waste.Runs, traditionally, are a much lower risk play than a long pass. You run there because if everything goes right then you pick up some positive yards (giving you better position to punt) or if you really hit it a 1st down. If it goes bad the odds of a turnover is lower and you still punt. Very low risk call.

One of the Super Bowl ads.
Essentially what the NFL is saying is that Detroit and Cleveland have experienced population declines because the Lions and Browns are shit.
Yeah, it's about time for Peyton to hang up his boots I think. They don't look like putting any more points on the board at this stage, and if the Panthers can get it together for just one TD drive, that could be it.Broncos offense keeping the Panthers in the game. They'd be better off kneeling three times and punting.
