A game to forget......very, very quickly! :(
Tbh the Spammers only tactic was to stifle our play - hence all the scrappy head-tennis!
Apart from Payet, they had zero creativity - their whole plan was to simply stop us from playing!!
.......and it worked!

I can understand how so many on here are calling for the heads of some players, but tbf they just couldn't get into the game cos West Ham didn't allow them to.

F**k it! Move on to Saturday!
COYS!!

We've really bottled this. Our first big test. The players who normally are so composed have struggled to pass the ball.

Son can't trap a bag of cement. Lamela's decision making and passing was atrocious, usually because he over ran it and then refused to make a right foot pass. Alli failed to make an impact and gave away silly fouls or try to win unlikely free kicks. Dier in the first half on the ball was terrible. Davies was terrible at everything. Trippier failed to get forward. Kane just can't get into the game. Lloris kept putting our own side under pressure because he won't use his right foot.

This may well get their heads out of the clouds and back into reality. Losing is one thing but today we have capitulated without really putting up a fight. We beat ourselves!

Our first big test?

So away at City was a piece of piss was it? 6 games won in a row was easy?

Come on it's one defeat.

Yes we were shit, and it's doubly disappointing as we could have gone top and of course it was West Ham.

But it's one game. Win on Saturday and we'll be back on track...and we've done that after every defeat this season.

Let's not get all Arsenal fan over this defeat. We're better than that and so is our team.

If we had to lose you would hope the other results went the way they are. If we win and Leicester lose. We go top as our goal difference is far superior. We always knew they would play their arses off. It was their cup final. We would t want to lose to those pikeys on our last game at WHL. So I'm putting it down as a blip. They will lose at the weekend as they gave it everything against us. We move on.

We all knew that it would be close game and usually i wouldnt be too disappointed that we lost given the results around us too, but the manner in which we lost was fucking disgraceful.

We were played off the pitch from the first minute. Our players looked scared and were passing it as badly as i have seen all season. There was no pressing whatsoever and our midfield completely went missing.

Not a single player out there played well today. Special mentions to Chadli (especially Chadli), Kane, Trippier, And Dier who were all utter, utter shit.

Even Lloris was bad, that just about sums it up.

Why them? For fuck's sake.

Hopefully we'll bounce back like we have so far this season. Looked like the pressure got to everyone tonight.

Don't think one player of ours had a good game, not gonna moan though, as they've been excellent all season.

It's the fact we looked so poor that hurts most. Impotent. Leicester dropped points but they battered West Brom.
We seemingly tried to ignore the fact that this game is everything to them. They haven't got anything else. You have to be prepared for that regardless of how shit they, in fact, are.

What can you say about that... A crazily bad performance. In fact at times absolutely pathetic. I am really struggling to recall a worse 90 mins than that, the whole team was awful. I'm deadly serious when I say that we have played about 10 times better when suffering 3/4/5/6 nil defeats than tonight, we seemed unable to even control the ball and pass it apart from sporadic moments.

Was it tiredness? Complacency? Just a freak bad night? Who knows, but that was plumbing depths tonight and need to see a reaction, starting on Saturday.

Have to be positive guys and girls.

Bad game to lose, but only 1-0 so not a massive dent to our goal difference.

We didn't lose to a direct rival.

None of our direct rivals won this round of fixtures (apart from Man U, they're on same points as City now and are picking up momentum)

We can bounce back against our real rivals on Sat.

On to Saturday. Can still go top before Leicester's next game. Further more Arsenal and City lost so nothing gained on us from them. This loss doesn't mean we won't win the title. Still plenty to play for.

rose and walker would have been better for this game in hindsight. Kane was absent, we've been playing better when he's been off the pitch recently.
