The only time women should feature in sport is when they're getting run over by horses. And even then they ended up with the vote! Stupid man's-world ruiners. Make me a sandwich!

I expect there will be a lot of coverage on the BBC of women's sport this summer. Some event in Brazil where we might win things.

The BBC should be shoving lingerie football and topless darts down your throats. Stupid BBC, can't even get women's sports right.

A crude 5 minute analysis of BBC Sport's website, TV and radio schedules shows that the ratio of coverage for men's football to women's is around 60-1. There are on average of just two articles on the women's section per day.

I'm saying the above is a problem, but 'equal footing' my ass.

What a sexist bunch some of you are.

As has been said, if you don't like it you don't have to watch it. Just like anything else on TV you don't like you can switch channels.

Love a bit of satire me. It's susting out those that are being funny & those that arnt that's the bit I like. My 2 penneth, I'll watch any football me but the crowd & the chanting and cheering at Women's football is shite. Reminds me of the "Women" in the stone him scene in Monty Python.

I use the BBC Sport app as my primary football news feed and I do find it slightly jarring that they seem intent on crow-barring women's football news into the headlines.

No one watches it, so why would anyone want to read about it?

Watch and learn and try to be open-minded. Not entertaining and skilful enough? Plenty more clips around showing talented women's football. I'm proud of them.

The question shouldn't be is there too much or should they cover women's football compared to proper football it should be is there too much or should they cover women's football compared to other sports that are more popular.
I don't know if women's football is more popular than other sports that the BBC don't seem to cover at all, like Motocross and MotoGP but it certainly isn't of a corresponding standard at elite level.
