Gotze had a hard season last at BM, he started 11 games and 3 as a sub. He did mange to get 3 goals and 4 assists which is not to shabby, but one must remember what team he is playing for. He had a series of injuries that fucked up his season, but BM seemingly have no real interest in keeping him around. The games I saw him in he looked nothing remarkable and who ever buys him would be doing so on the promis of a player that was not a player that is. I would be happy if we got him, and reckon we could get him if we wanted him, but I'm not sure Poch would want him.

One thing you can say about Gotze is that he has experience playing for high pressing teams. It's not always about how hard you work off the ball as such but how intelligent your positioning is and he would be used to that i'd imagine playing under Klopp.

I think most are amused than anything..... But kept us busy gossiping.
I personally think we did ask since Wynaldum is around this value. Even Bolaise is slap with 28m and Mane cost 30m+... World has gone mad.... So why not Gotze at 20m. BM can also subsidize the wage for a yr so that leaves us paying full wage for 3 yrs assuming we go for a 4 yr contract.
Base on what I had read in BM forum, the fans opinion are split. They expect him to be Neymar....
His stats is not that bad as it make out to be....

How many times do these stories pop up and people get sucked in every single time. Once in a blue moon these sort of deals do happen but Christ they are few and far between.

This would be an amazing buy. Can't see it actually happening but if he is moving clubs there is no reason we shouldn't chuck our hat in the ring
