Which hasn't happened but even if it were happening Pochettino would still be having to make decisions along the way, which you conveniently forget. Those decisions are being made all the time and change. Managers make them and fans make them. Most players don't come to the end of a contract so can never therefore be assessed in your methodology. I bet you have complained about players, I bet you have suggested we sell players, which without coming to the end of their contracts to assess them you shouldn't be doing, according to your own thinking. That would be double standards.

You trying to speculate on how I judge players tells me you're losing sight of this discussion....you've gone off on a bit of a tangent there mate.

Don't really get any of your points tbh.

That is an incredibly stupid comparison, I really hope nobody in your family is ever in such a dark place they even contemplate taking their life.

Well, actually yes.

Apologies if you have taken offense.

I wasn't looking into the reason why the person went up there. The article didn't state it was somebody suicidal either.

Plugging the two gaping holes in our squad with Janssen and Wanyama for under £30m in today's market is incredible work. If we can add another player to help break down the bus parkers like a Gotze or similar that will be a hell of a window.

Then it's down to player retention and getting the likes of Bentaleb (and Mason if he stays) back on track to help out the midfield. Hopefully get more out of Son too.

It's weird being in a position when @JJetset saying 2 maybe 3 incomings and there's not massive uproar to that not being enough, but that's what a good season and stability can do. Obviously I hope and assume the 1 more in only applies to first team ready buys (would quite like us to look for a young GK for example).
