It is state of the art in that I can't think of many situations where the bodge was a fundamental design strategy - and basically has been throughout the design process of converting that venue. In those terms it will be unique as a stadium, and very fitting for West Ham.

I don't want to get all 'Final Destination' here, but did anyone else watch the video and feel a little shiver when the song playing in the background of the video clip ends with the lyric "if the sky comes falling down for you"...
Been trying to wind my West ham mate up about their attempts to sign a world class striker and he isn't biting at all. He genuinely thinks they have a chance of getting a lacazette, batshui, Bacca, icardi type striker. Also thinks the Rodriguez bid is genuine.

I went up the orbit the other day and could see onto the concourse, it really does look two bit. Huge shirts with the players names on that look like they are made of plywood by some 6th former made me laugh. So glad ours looks quality. This really looks like shite

It has the feeling of a temporary knock up at centre parcs and gives the impression that it's going to fall apart at any time.
I know we moan about our new place taking ages to be built, but you know it's going to be fucking quality once it goes up. West Ham's is held up with dildos and bondage tape!

The gap between the upper and lower tier is going to look awful. Also It looks so open that come winter it is going to be freezing on the concourse.

He mentions in the video that the east stand is going to be moved forwards, but I'm sure it already has been. Unless I'm mistaken? The gaps have been filled by seats, and the stand is physically further forward compared to the rest.
