Ashley: No less than £30m Daniel
Daniel: Ok
Ashley: What?
Daniel: I said ok. Poch thinks he's worth it.
Ashley: £30m? Really?
Daniel: Yes, is that a problem.
Ashley: No, no. *puts phone down*

I think what I've learned today from SSN is how every time they talk to the Bournemouth guy Wilshire gets better and better. Started off as the best english prospect and now he's the best midfielder of his generation, soon he'll be the greatest of all-time.

Whether he is a shit player or not, I am just happy that first time Levy has backed the manager.....

There were few here who threw their toys out of pram after one of Ali Z opinion/update. I just say - all is forgiven ;)

Personally I did not think much of the Fewnch team. Thought they were very lucky to get anywhere. Then again no team in the Euros were more than bang average

You mean the French team that beat the World Cup Winners Germany who happened to be tournament favourites?

Let's hope but as he is only 17 unless he is a Pele, Best or Maradona I think we have a few years to wait for an impact. Glad though to have him in the squad as he makes sense to me but with Wanyama already bought I am not sure what Sissoko adds. Edwards. And Winks are the great hopes but we really could have done with a creative ... not just fast ... AM
What does Wanyama and Sissoko remotely have in common as players? Sissoko brings pace, ability to counter attack, take players on, press from the front....

Sky have just described wheelbarrow as one of the top midfielders of his generation! I just don't get it. He has literally done fuck all throughout his career other than be a drain on Arsenal's medical team. Players like him are ten a penny in La Liga.

Anyway. I'm off to bed to dream about being dominated by Abdo while she shouts German phrases at me and Rachel Riley does a strip tease with the cards from Countdown.

COYS! Two of your big ones from the top please Rachel.

Thanks everyone at SC for the transfer window information.

I did say I would donate 60 quid if we got Isco but as Sissoko ends in an O I will still send you 60 quid.

Will be on its way soon but I better do some work right now.

Edit - now paid up.

Also just confirmed we have an option to buy pau at the end of the loan.

http://www.rcdespanyol.com/ca/actualitat/pau-lopez-cedit-al-tottenham/_n:3472/

'The goalkeeper Paul Lopez will play on loan to Tottenham Hotspur after the agreement reached between RCD Espanyol and the London club. This is a paid assignment after which Tottenham will have to exercise a purchase obligation if the goalkeeper meets certain sporting objectives.'

Slightly concerned about how delighted the Newcastle fans are to see him go. Dont think Everton fans are that down about it either...
Toffees that i know have been saying all night that we can have him - couldnt believe we matched their 30million offer

Time for Poch to do his stuff....

We've had over 1.5 million page impressions today! I'll check tomorrow but I think that's the most EVER in a single day on SC.
Have you had any Tommy Cooper impressions? I'll be interested to see that too.
