BTW, BBC saying that Newcastle and Spurs signed the 'deal sheet' which means we have up to 01:00 to officially complete the transfer.

Very pleased with this window now. We have some proper options in the center while adding pace and another quality striker.
We cleared out most the players Poch didn't fancy, while keeping everyone important. Sure we could have used another attacking midfielder, but luckily for us that's a position we have some of our most promising youngsters.

I think people are not putting this price into context of the other prices being paid this window:
Marcus Alonso - £23m. This guy was at Bolton and wasn't able to hack the English style. Conte was quoted as saying "the market is ridiculous, I'm being quoted 50m for medium (average) players"
Islam Slimani - £29m, 28 years old and big attitude to go with it.
Mustafi and Perez - £52m for a permacrock centreback and a journeyman striker who had one good season at the age of 27, effectively the Spanish Vardy in many respects.
Pogba - £93m Really???
Even in the Championship; Hendrik for 10m. Kodjia for 11m. Burke for 13m. Who the hell are any of these players??
£30m for Sissoko doesn't seem so bad

I see your point. An Isco would have been great. The onus is going to be on Alli and Erikson in the central AM to unlock defences. Think we have enough to go up against most teams and will be able to ward off exhaustion by rotating more.

Sorry fella but Stoke signed Bruno Martins Indi, Wilfired Bony and Lee Grant on loan as well as a youngster called McJannett. Shame because I had spurs at 14-1 to sign the most
