Hate when our fans don't give new players a chance to settle in.

Except in this instance - Sissoko is a fucking awful footballer with an awful brain, shit technique, no work ethic, clumsy and just all round general shitness.

I wasn't too averse to his signing, but I have not seen him have a positive touch of the football yet. Guy could score a penalty and I'd be semi sure it was an accident.

We all knew what we were getting because we had all seen him at Newcastle and he was absolutely awful in hislast season there. £30 million was an outrageous fee at the time and still is now. There is no rationale for this signing, it makes no sense whatsoever and only strengthens my belief that coaches shouldn't have any real control over signings. I was right behind Poch tonight and even he was grimacing at some of Sisokkos mistakes, why he didn't bring him off was simply bizarre.
If not for the Euros I can guarantee Sissoko wouldn't be anywhere near this squad. International competition fucking Spurs over again.

Who who would pay £24,000,000 for him? Also paying what we did for him (considering how poor he is as a footballer) strikes me as fishy. So out of character for levy to do something like that

Just got to hope we can offload him to China or Qatar or somewhere with more money than sense and get them to pay Newcastle the rest of what we owe them.

I had hoped he would be better than this, but he seems fundamentally talentless.

I'm not so sure, I actually think that the Newcastle hammering had more to do with it.

Would honestly rather have anyone of Ruel Fox, Ronnie Rosental, Andy Sinton, Jose Domingez playing than him.

Seems devoid of all talent.

On the positive side we must have at least a £25m credit with Newcastle...

I agree with the general sentiment here. I usually give players time to settle, but fuck me is Sissoko useless. I can't believe we paid 30 fucking million for him off the back of about 200 minutes at the Euros, when his stats and contributions for France/Newcastle before that are absolutely embarrassing. He'd be working in a grocery store somewhere if he wasn't physically powerful.

Our transfer business seemed so calculated and smart up until the point we panic bought this clown.

Based on the games I've seen him play so far for us he is running neck and neck with David Jenkins as the worst player I've seen playing for Spurs.
For you youngsters Jenkins splayed nearly fifty years ago. A load of crap has floated by since then at Spurs but he is right up their with the worst of them .
i qualify this by saying its based on what Ive seen so far and I can only hope but I know its a long shot that he will improve. If not £30 million down the drain.

He is utter toilet this lad! seriously poor signing, everton must be pissing themselves that we got lumbered wih him, and Newcastle well and truly Levy'ed, Levy.

He cant pass, he cant get past his man, doesnt get his head up and when he does he passes behind or to the opposition, his shooting is woefull. He doesnt even seem pacey either. A total waste of money, how he stayed on ahead of Son tonight is beyond me!

The fucking worry is this was a player that Poch desperately wanted and we hear he wants more control on transfers

He is so bad it's bordering on fraud.

Normally we have a fair few supporting crap on blind faith but I haven't read one for him

He scores 1 in 15 and assists about that. The reason he is classed as an attacking midfielder is because he can't defend

The only explanation for me is that he's somehow lost both of his feet and just has his stumps tucked into his boots. There's no way anybody with actual feet could be this bad at football.

When we signed him, I was optimistic he'd do well enough for us.

However, I've watched every minute he's played for us, and apart from a hardworking performance against City, he's been dire. His first touch is awful, he doesn't seem to get many assists OR goals (based on his career stats). He's basically a bulldozer who knocks the ball forward and runs after it.

We were crying out in the summer for a top quality playmaker. I can't believe that we couldn't find someone suitable for £30m.

Also, I realise Chadli wasn't the hardest working or quickest player, but he was skilful and, more importantly, scored easily his fair share of goals for us.

I would honestly rather have Townsend in the side than Sissoko, based on the latter's current form.

£30m, THIRTY FUCKING MILLION of your English Pounds we paid for this twat. I feel sick just thinking about it especially knowing before hand he was utter dog shit, we all knew he was. £30m could and would have got you one of Europe's brightest young talents but we end up with Moussa Fucking Sissoko.....

Levy: Mauricio, we need to talk...
Poch: Sure thing boss
Levy: About that extra control you wanted over transfers...
