Signed up today. Never placed a bet in my life and just about to go through the training and see if I can get my head around it. Be a bit of fun if nothing else

If it's just enhanced odds, I think it's stake returned

For the Bwin £50 bonus NCO (the 2nd method), do you place all your bets as normal/stake returned, or £50 as normal then £50 (i.e. the bonus) as stake not returned?

Talking of bwin, I received an email from them today saying on my next deposit they will match it with a 100% cash bonus up to £50 - anyone else had this?

See I thought I got the hang of this, but something in my head isn't adding up.

Example 1 - Dafabet new sign up offer, deposit 30 and get 30 free bet.

Profit Squad suggest using stake not returned on calculator for first bet, detailing the profit as £19 regardless of result in this case.

My bet lost with the bookie, which meant I deposited 30 pound with dafabet and only won 20 on the betfair side (the lay stake the calculator told me to use). In effect I am 10 pound down at this point?

I then used the free bet to make £22, which doesn't tally up with the initial calculator information.

I make it:

First bet (£10 loss)
Second bet (£22 win)
Profit £12

My issue with this is if I chose stake returned on the initial bet I would have made a better profit (due to different lay stake). Yet I have the inevitable feeling I am missing something here?!

Please advise on what I am doing wrong!

Ok, so the Dafabet offer offers a refund if your £30 bet loses with them. If you placed it as Stake Returned and the bookie bet won, you would have lost around £1 on your back/lay qualifier and NO free bet would be issued.
That's why you need to SNR the initial bet, which underlays and provides guaranteed profit.

In your example, you deposited £30 of your money into dafabet, placed the bet and lost the £30.
The exchange won you £20, so like you say, £10 down overall. But...
Dafabet then refund the £30 as a free bet, so you have around £50 in total but the free bet needs to be staked to withdraw.
£30 bet placed SNR and won £22 so down to £42 total from the initial £30 so £12 profit.

If the bet had won with the bookie then the underlaying on the exchange would have provided the total profit and the free bet wouldn't be granted. With that offer PS state between £12 and £23 profit, so I expect your two matches weren't extremely close, what were they?

Thanks for your help mate.

My first match was a crapper, 3.4 to 3.65. I had a spare 5 minutes and thought why not!

My main problem with this particular offer is that I would have been better off winning on the first bet profit wise, so if I knew before hand I wouldn't have bothered betting on any old thing and instead been more selective with my choice.

Yes, that's exactly where you went wrong, any Free Bet needs to be as high odds as you can go with your exchange funds. For example, had the first bet been at odds of 7.0, with the lay at 7.4 then the profit would've been more like £23/24.

Just double check how the free bet is awarded, as a general rule, if it's a refunds on losses then qualify at SNR and high odds, if it's Free Bet tokens then the qualifier should be SR, low odds.

Positive: Using the extra free spins from Casumo I've managed to convert my loss into a small profit.

Negative: Betclic seem to have changed their sign-up offer sometime during my sign-up and I amy be taking a loss on it.

There's discussion on the facebook group about this. I've not been following it but my understanding was that it wasn't open to UK residents.

Not on Facebook(doing this thing is the closest I've come to signing up) but the T & C's make it clear it is/was open to the UK.

This Promotion is available exclusively to new customers who have created an account with BC, reside in “UK” and are players associated with our exclusive UK Gambling Affiliation partnership. Customers who reside outside of “UK” are not eligible for the welcome bonus, but may be eligible to other bonuses or offers.

The bolded bit may be a problem, mainly because I'm not really sure what it means.

Had another result from casumo just now.

Got a total of £12.50 from the 20 free spins you get each day after signing up, turned that £12.50 into £271.50 monopoly money which I have just withdrawn, add that to the £48 I got from the sign up and I have got £319.50 from casumo :)

.....And it doesn't stop there. I took Bwin up on their 100% bonus deposit up to £50 offer, so I got an extra £50 after depositing. I bet the whole £100 on Austria beating Slovakia, laid it with betfair and it was a draw, thus making me a nice £44 profit with betfair. a good night for me.

I've had a shit week, every EV offer I've done has lost me money including the Bet365 Vegas NCO and I couldn't even back a winner in the Chan 4 races on Sunday. Plus my last Bingo NCO lost me £4 lol.
I know it's just a blip but I'm going back to just Sports NCOs for a week, still got quite a few to work through.

How we all getting on with this?

I went on holiday and now stupidly busy at work so not getting the time for it. Just had 30 quid taken from my account for ProfitSquad too so I guess if I don't get any time this just won't work for me!

Not done any NCOs for a week or two but spent a bit of time understanding the horse racing. Made a couple of hundred from the dutching and the free bet refunds in the last few weeks.

I'd expect by the weekend to be around a grand up overall and that's without spending much time doing anything (not touched accumulators yet which along with dutching seem to be the two long-term sustainable methods of making decent money).

Putting in effort, I can easily see a grand per month being possible and certainly a few hundred a month for not much effort.
