I dislike any player that publicly refuses to play because the boss won't sell him. If you sign a contract you should honor it, be professional and play your best. We had that type of player before with Berbatov and however great he was we don't need players that think they are too good for their club. Poch seems to promote a fantastic team environment and I wouldn't want to risk it with disruptive influences and players who sulk

you don't know what he's been told or promised. If he's been let down, then he has every right to rebel.

Glad poch decided not to go for him , unprofessional , petulant, git, just wasted 2 years of his football life , his attitude has proved no top 6 team will ever go for him , hope he regrets his decisions for life.

Find him in bed with your wife or something?

When you factor in the recent inflation due to the new TV money, 12mill is a big drop off the offer we submitted 18 months ago, and they got pretty much zilch out of him in those 18 months too. Peace was just a massive fk wit.

For 12mill I still would have taken him tbh. Even if it took him a month or two to get Poch fit, he could have been a handy addition to spell for Kane or even play on the right wing if were playing that formation.

Worse case if he was deemed not up to it, Levy could have sold him for more than 12mill to the next club.

Hopefully Janssen can find some confidence during the run home.

Not going to happen.
With the greatest of respect for the awesome ITK nuggets that you post and that we're all very grateful for, doesn't the fact that Berahino has already signed for Stoke make the above a bit of a "no shit, Sherlock" post?

:p:D

Very interested to see how he does at Stoke. Hughes doesn't put up with a lot of crap so will be interesting to see if he has an attitude problem or was just unhappy.

Would have liked to see us buy him 2 seasons ago and seen if Poch could have developed him. But we have moved on while he has stagnated so given the current situation probably for the best we haven't signed him this window.

I agree with this in principal but Pulís is so dodgy that I think / have heard there is much more to this. Promises, broken promises and lots of people trying to line their pockets is the other version of this story

In any case no point buying him now as he will need 3 months to get match fit and probably better available in the summer

Hope the West Brom chairman is proud of himself, having made half the profit he could have done, and paying wages to someone not even playing (y)
