Glad poch decided not to go for him , unprofessional , petulant, git, just wasted 2 years of his football life , his attitude has proved no top 6 team will ever go for him , hope he regrets his decisions for life.

I'd love it if we just come in now Stoke have agreed and bring him to Spurs.

I really feel he'd be perfect for our squad.

How people come to such odd conclusions is beyond me. He is not that good a footballer, he's unfit and disruptive - how in ze fuck does that ever signify a perfect match for our harmonious, super fit, good at football squad?

In the past Rose and Vertonghen have branded players with bad attitudes. They have both thrived under Poch.

We shouldn't be so quick to write players off as having bad attitudes, sometimes the outspoken players are actually the ones who really care and want things to be done right.

Those situations are not at all comparable. They were branded as having bad attitudes because of the body language experts on here, Berahino has very clearly got a shit attitude and has sulked away the last 2 years of his career. Broken promises or not; his attitude stinks.

Modric went on strike and refused to play. At the same time he is seen as a model professional by many. If Berahino had got his move he might have shown a different side to his character.

Many people voted for Trump. Many people are idiots. Modric is not a model professional.

Depends on your definition I guess. As far as dedication, hard work, putting the team above yourself then Modric is a model professional.

Lol, seems overly harsh

Harsh but true perhaps?

I'd say it would take a lack of caring and poor attitude to not regret the last couple of years (which couldn't have gone much worse) for the rest of his life. He needs to learn from it and move on. If he has no regrets, he is unlikely to ever progress his career.

I'm not saying Berahino is entirely to blame though. West Brom should also have regrets, because they clearly haven't managed the situation perfectly and have ended up losing out both financially and on the pitch (had they sold Berahino, they could have afforded a decent replacement, instead of being a man down whilst he rotted in the reserves). Ferguson always set a precedent in these situations, no matter how important to the team the player may have been (Stam, Beckham, Ronaldo etc), and we've done the same with several big players. If a player wants out or is a negative influence on the team, the best solution is often to get the biggest transfer fee possible, rather than to force them to stay.

Shame as would have liked to have taken a chance on him.

But hey ho there must be a reason we didn't go back in for him, I'm sure if Poch had really wanted him we would have got him over Stoke.
