They gotta shut the roof tonight right? Stop all chances of them using the wind against us! :geek:

Am at work in Watford, supposed to be on a half day today, so that I could get home, pick up my son and then head in for the game.
Scrap all those plans now!!!
My tickets are at home, so I can't even bus it to the game without him.
I called the club earlier about my ticket, I have a PDF version and no printer... they said the West ticket office can print me a ticket from 4.30 til half time. Might be worth calling to see if that's possible, for paper tickets?

The joys of a national stadium which is (essentially) public transport access only.

Looks like London Overground is open again between Watford and Wembley so I should be able to get there even if I have to drive to Watford first. Ball-ache though innit. Imagine if we had this on Sunday for the EFL Cup final with loads of Mancs heading down through the worst of it. They would be fucked!

Depends how badly train lines are affected - only need a tree to come down and that's a line done for the rest of the day/night.
I'm somewhat reliant on Southern Trains for tonight in terms of timing. They're shite at the best of times, let alone during bad weather.
I do have a contingency plan to drive to Stanmore if necessary though.
I guess

Good luck.

I'll be coming from Baker St as I work nearby. My first match at Wembley since we drew 1-1 with Barcelona in a pre-season friendly about 8 years ago

Taken me two hours to get home from work. London Midland and Southern is utter chaos.
Already made decision not to risk it tonight.

U driving then?
Nope... Car now being used to prop up fence and gate that have been blown in.
Still keeping eye on the trains, but currently not looking positive.
Southern train coming North is already 25 mins late. That usually means it will terminate at Watford instead of Milton Keynes, so nothing back south.
London Midland running but severely delays.

Taking my son, and he no has no school tomorrow as tiles all blown off roof, so late night not an issue anymore.

Left early to get home before going to the game which is a 15 minute journey. 55 minutes later I got back.

My decision all hangs on Southern Trains right now.
If the Northbound runs on time (as it currently is) then I'm going as it should run on time southbound and get me into Wembley just after 7.
The boy has decided to stay and watch it on TV.

Amazing number of Gent fans here. Spoke to a couple who reckons they have 7000 coming. What's their average home attendance, I thought it was on a par with Wimbledon!

Drove from MK to Watford. London Overground running fine from there. En route to Wembley now. Happy days.
