I suppose some people just have a sense of style.I dont buy kits for myself, i buy them for my lad, and i'd much rather the kit looked half decent for the money they cost.

Pretty sure the deal is that we sell the rights to Nike (or whoever) and they sell the shirts. We get the money from them each year as agreed and they get the profits from selling as many shirts as possible.It's another revenue stream for the club, again globally, so really I'm not sure why you would think it's not important.
