Poch post game:

It is crazy how the goals came in the last few minutes but we pushed and we created chances to win. Today was a difficult game and the team showed big character. The most important thing is the badge. When you play for Tottenham it is not about the names, it is about the team. This season we are showing that we are a team."

I literally love him

Just got back from the game. Was sat in the home end as I live in Swansea now and have a few contacts. The nerves in the ground were palpable from both ends, but it felt like one of those games we were really going to miss harry Kane. It was a classic lots of the ball but nothing quite working in the final third.

But we never gave up and our superior fitness levels and ability showed in the end. I love Poch for totally changing the mentality of the squad. It was like watching Fergie's united - they keep working till the very last moment, steadfast in the belief that they can get something from the game. Wonderful stuff.

lol what? How?
He gave it as Dwight gayle encroached. He just got the wrong end of the stick and gave an indirect freekick instead of ordering a retake of the penalty. Luckily for him Newcastle scored later in the match so it didn't decide the outcome. To be fair to the ref he's come out and apologised via the pgmol on twitter

How so? How have we justified to the footballing world that we are not legends?
We didn't do it last season, we went out in the group stages of the CL, lost to Genk in the Europa this season but now we beat Swansea in stoppage time we aren't legends anymore, I don't think so.

Every now and then I like to reveal your posts just to see why I have you on ignore.

Original decision justified. Every. Fucking. Time.

Just had a re-look at the game. The real turning point was substituting GKN for Davies, who had been real poor both in defence and attack. The move widened our attack, stretching them so that they cannot just clutter up the middle.

How the fuck can you claim we have no bottle than we have gained way more points than any other Club from losing positions this season.

We will make mistakes as a young group of players but we're progressing and improving all the time.

If you can't see the bigger picture, and it's painfully obvious, you could do with picking another sport.

legends, do me a favour. Our mental strength has improved considerably under Pochettino.

The problem is we're becoming victims of our own success. The minute things start to get shaky or frustrating, heaven forbid another team has a say in the way a game is going, and you get impatient types on here lashing out and labelling the team as legends lol

Its actually incredible really.
He never said we we have no bottle

However we have earnt the title as legends due to past performances under Redknapp and AVB as well as last season poor quarter

We have improved a huge amount over the last 5 years but that label of spursy and legends wont go until we win something!

Son's goal reminded me of his goal against Watford last season...well the celebration anyway...just ran around and has no idea what to do with himself then eventually ended up celebrating with the fans :D
