As far as fans go you sound like a spoiled brat.

Being extremely generous there with the spoiled brat viewpoint

Some guys you see posting on here and you hope you never meet them in real life as they would be so miserable and joy sapping

It was embarrassing
I bet.

It's why I never post during a match. They bang on until we're winning comfortably and then they slink back into the shadows.

Fact is we're going to drop a result in this run in. We're simply not going to win 13 games straight to close out the season. That's just a ridiculous expectation for any side.

Sure as shit when we do they'll come flying back in claiming how we bottled it, spursed it up, whatever.

Very proud. That's the sort of win that you don't expect, in your head you say ..."well we are Spurs. Got loads of injuries. This was bound to happen at some point"

And then boom!! It's like we are Man Utd in the late 90s

Honestly win the league or not we have players that care about the club and will bust a gut to the last minute. Down to earth, yet extremely talented humble guys that we can all relate with. In the current era that is pretty rare especially when we have for a long time been seen as a platform to bigger things for many.

Some of the comments on here tonight are embarrassing. Even if we had lost we are 2nd in the league. We will miss most of our players when they are gone and think some perspective is needed.

Is the poch season end collapse starting already??

Mate Poch doesn't play GKN. Poch a dick head!

Bottle job pricks

Can't believe people are crying out for Janssen.

Last thing we need.

Just when all this title talk starts again. When will people learn?

This is turning into a shocker of an evening, so Spursy it's untrue...

We have to question whether Poch's teams have the bottle for a title challenge...

In a must win game we have been nothing short of embarrassing.
Spursy in glorious hd quality.

The next player to say publically that they have learnt their lessons from last season, should be publically flogged in the new ground walkway.

Nervous, hurried, stiff, braindead. Typical.

We are good enough for 3rd spot .. not good enough for 2nd or 1st sport .. no matter hiw much experience or seasons we play it will not change...wait and see we will lose atleast 3 games between now and end of the season

Other than off course the goals and seeing that Feignski get what he deserved, next biggest cheer was when Ben Davies came off, absolutely awful player.

It's all been a wall of bullshit, this thread.

We've been missing Harry Kane for three matches. Two away. We've won all three. Tonight we were also missing our captain. WTF are people going on about using the pointless word "legends" every three lines?

As I watched I figured we'd lose or maybe get a point. I was frustrated, not with the side, but with the fact that we'd conceded a soft goal in the 13th minute and Swansea parked the bus and were going to get away with it. We were so much better all the way but for that one moment.

Never in doubt.

Agreed.

  • Tottenham Hotspur (29) have won more points in 2017 than any other Premier League team (W9 D2 L1).
  • Spurs have won 17 points from losing positions in the Premier League this season; more than any other side in the competition.
  • In fact, under Mauricio Pochettino Tottenham have won 53 points from losing positions - 13 more than any other Premier League side in that time.
  • Swansea have never beaten Tottenham in 12 matches in the Premier League, drawing two and losing 10.
  • No Premier League team has scored more 90th minute winning goals this season than Tottenham (3 - level with Arsenal).
  • Dele Alli has been involved in 13 goals in 12 Premier League games for Tottenham in 2017 so far (9 goals, 4 assists).
  • Alli has yet to lose a Premier League game in which he has scored, winning 16 and drawing five. Christian Eriksen has been directly involved in 10 goals in his seven Premier League games against Swansea (6 goals, 4 assists).

It is part of the game. Supporters on a forum also get caught up in the drama of the game, in the same way that Supporters do at a stadium.

Those same supporters, know doubt were elated with the victory. Its part of the roller coaster effect of any action sport.

I was despondent throughout the game. Frustrated by the formation change and team selection per se. Left my boys watching around 85 minutes and watched the come back in my room. I felt sheepish in that i should have watched with them to the end. So i get how some wear their emotions on their sleeves.

Watched highlights... That's some Man Utd circa 1996 shit there... We were always in the game, but struggled to create. But plugged away and we basically outlasted them, and for all Swansea's monumental effort and fabianskis heroics, quality and fitness will always tell.

Only difference is that man utd were chasing a bottling Newcastle then, and we're behind a dominant Chelsea. But the title was always a stretch and 2nd will be phenomenal.

Nice gap opening up now too.

Love it when people go over posts trying to dig fans out. Lol. Thinking there're all high and mighty for not criticising the team. Emotions are running high It's a fucking matchday forum!!.
For 88 minutes we were piss poor and had every right to comment on that.
This is a Tottenham forum and we're all here because we love Tottenham and have the right to post how we like.
Some posters are negative when things are going bad... so what?
Just because you didn't criticise doesn't make you more of a fan!!!
Last night was 88mins of torture followed by 5 minutes of pure ecstasy.
Lets get one thing straight though shall we, EVERY Tottenham fan went absolutely mental when we won that game. Remember that. COYS.

I disagree. Arsenal Fan Tv is a selection of diversive fans who they interview once the match is over.

The match thread catches fans in the heat of the moment and is a snapshot of what that fan is feeling in that very second. It's often viewed out of context by revisiting once things have changed but that's not really fair.

Some are worse than others but on the whole every person in that thread is just desperate for Spurs to win.
