Y'know, before the Russian mafia pitched up, I used to enjoy watching Chelsea in the days of Gullitt, Zola, Di Matteo and Vialli. Might have been the Hoddle connection.

S****horpe United are my second team. I like Brentford too, used to go watch them a bit when I lived in Chiswick.

My Dad was Leeds, but I could never get on board with them.

A now well run club, their fans have been dragged through the shit over the last few years, and managed by a yid...whats not to like?
Brighton's also a cracking night out, many fond memories of the place...although if they turn us over next season they can rot in hell for all i care ;)

Seems like a few here are based donwn that way aswell.

There's no team I enjoy watching to be honest. I like the old school feel of Birmingham city, always a good Derby with Aston Villa.

This still makes me chuckle...

That is brilliant!

I tried requesting a special S****horpe filter when I got a days ban for trying to spell it with a 'v' instead of a 'u'.

I think A&C told me to fuck off.
the though of loads of angry northerners trying to get online in the late 90s cracks me up!

Amazing how many of us have a soft spot for Brighton. For me as a South London kid it was a place I was taken to regularly (and my - brief - step dad was from there and he was nice fella) always had great times (the aquarium dolphins, the pier, the Lanes etc). Then as an adolescent we'd go to football there for a crack and a weekend jolly (I went to Spurs games, a Palace game - which was also a Portsmouth and Millwall game - and was at the infamous Chelsea game) then later in life would take my own kids there, it's grown into a great city with really nice vibe.

Then it's some of the smaller London clubs I used to go and watch with mates on days when Spurs weren't playing, just for shits and giggles:

Fulham (again like a few of us) It's not so much I really like them, I just don't dislike them as much as many. It was a nice little club to go to watch football, nice part of town, by the river. Went to a great rave there around 89' as well, bumped into a really good mate I hadn't seen for a while.

The real (Plough Lane) Wimbledon now deceased, not the new one which have done to Kingstonian exactly what they bitch about MK doing to them.

Brentford (more recent because of their owner and his methodology, Mark Warburton, the brief Spurs connection of Pritchard and the football they played).

Of PL clubs, I quite like the way Southampton have gone about their business the last few years. Can't say a have a soft spot for them or anything just don't really hate or dislike them.

The way some people feel about Everton, I feel a bit about ManC, I don't really begrudge them their new status, they suffered for decades being the poor neighbour, two relegations, their fans were pretty loyal through decades of lean years. I know they hate us, possibly going back to the Ricky Villa cup final etc (another reason perhaps I don't hate them as they are intrinsically linked to one of my fondest spurs memories) but of the big PL teams (ManU, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool), they are the one whose success is least painful.

Does anyone go to watch a lower league club? Watching the Plymouth fans invade the pitch and Dance about with the players makes me quite envious.

I remember the Carling Cup semi final against Sheffield Utd a couple of seasons back... I was sat in East Lower, and instinctively shouted "ha-way man!!" at Townsend. This big bald lad in the seat in front, with no neck and an obscenely tight Home shirt on, turned round and glared at me and said "'ere, you Sheffield?". I said "nah mate, I'm just from up that way."

That must've satisfied him, cause we were all celebrating together when we scored.

Manu fans must have the same situation..

Fundamentally dislike every other Club. Don't mind Tranmere though due to family connections. When we played them though I still wanted us to batter them!!

Since last season when they all ganged up on us and were hugging on Leicesters nuts, none of them - I'd be happy if they could all lose every game :)

Got to do the pitch invasion thing last year with the cobblers...

We've got a family season ticket at Northampton Town. The wifes family are all massive cobblers fans so I tag a long every other Saturday. It can be quite awful football at times but the kids are also Spurs fans so its a nice balance - best of both worlds!. The kids also know that if Spurs ever play Northampton, they know what team to support.

Other than the cobblers I have soft spots for Hull as I went to Uni there and Sunderland as one of my best mates is a long suffering SAFC fan. My other close mate is a Chelsea fan...I refuse to stoop that low. :)
