I mentioned this elsewhere, but an odd one for me was Genoa. There's a number of Italian teams I like. I used to like Juve because of the same players, Inter because of Sosa, and Torino because of their history. But top of my list of Italian teams is Genoa, so much so that my first holiday as an adult was to Genoa. Nice place!

Does anyone go to watch a lower league club? Watching the Plymouth fans invade the pitch and Dance about with the players makes me quite envious.
Regularly have the misfortune to watch Newport County. Only once in recent memory did we have cause to invade the pitch and dance about with the players.
Probably a better laugh than watching Prem League but obviously the football is a million times worse!

Swansea - lived there for a few years, used to watch them a bit, they play nice football and they despise cardiff
West Brom - always enjoy that away trip and my best mate supports them
Villa - another away trip I enjoy and I loves the Brummie accent.

Outside the Prem:
Newport County - my other team
St Etienne - loved the 90s indie/dance band
Bordeaux - spent some time there during the Euros. Awesome city and awesome people

Fulham. Great away trip. Fans don't mind us and we can sing stand up if you hate Cheksea together

Barca, originally for romantic political reasons.

Brighton because I went to college there.

Leyton Orient because why not? They never hurt anyone.

I've got loads of Sheffield Wednesday mates up around South Yorkshire, and whenever I get over, I try to schedule - in addition to a couple at the Lane, obviously - at least one match at Hillsborough. It's great - you get most of the joys from the matchday rituals with mates and a great old traditional English football ground, but if they lose ... no sweat.

Obviously, going to the Lane is vastly superior ... but when you only get to see one or two a year, poor performances/results can put a damper on things. It's nice to take in the traditional matchday knowing with certainty that you post-match will be good, whatever happens.

The football they play is shite and their former chairman was a right git, but I like West Bromwich because their fans bounce up and down, have funny voices, answer to a silly name (the Baggies) and wear fancy dress (on the last day of the season at least).

It's like they're a tribe of tall, non-orange Oompah-Loompahs. And what's not to like about that?

Also, there's the whole black player thing in the 1970s, Nacer and Jake, Cat Deeley, 'Liquidator' by the Harry J Allstars, plus it's the only place on earth where anyone uses the word 'throstle'.

But, mostly I like West Bromwich because they really, really, really loathe Wolves. And Wolves are ****s. So, as long as I don't actually have to watch them attempt to play football, then I do quite like the Baggies.

I'm struggling to work out whether West Bromwich's new mascot is a good thing or a bad thing.

I think it's a bad thing done really well, which would make a decent counterpoint for their football, which is a good thing done really badly.

Whatever.

Luxuriate for a moment, if you will, in the presence of West Brom's new mascot, Colin the Combi, who, for me at any rate, represents yet another reason why I actually quite like West Brom. The nutters.

I have a soft spot for Everton. Not sure their new owners have been sensible in the transfer window though.

Spurs, she's to be treated like a lady even though she's a mental bitch at times. I'm a one club man, wouldn't dream of cheating on spurs. I like to think I'm loyal.

None. I care not a jot about other football clubs. I don't even dislike other clubs. I feel nothing towards any of them.

England -

United for trophy domination during Arsenal's strongest spell, generally good football, tradition of emphasis on youth and flair players. Not that I like them particularly but I can respect the way the club was run under Ferguson. Since he's gone that's all gone out the window. Senseless spending on ageing superstars and flavours of the month who are discarded. Really can't stand them now.

Non-England -

Celtic. Not that I look for their results or anything but a strong dislike for Rangers and an Irish background means I'm happy to see them do well. Boring now though, with no real competition and playing in a mickey mouse league.

Sevilla - had a season ticket there from 2003-2010 as they turned from perennial also-rans into a trophy winning machine and even challenged Madrid and Barcelona in the league a few times. Incredible place to watch football - passionate support, Spain's best derby, the heat, memories of that West Germany v France semi-final in 82. Most foreigners go for Betis when they move there and I was kind of leaning that way but after watching both teams fairly regularly for about six months just felt more connection with Sevilla. Good choice as it turned out.

St Pauli - been living in Hamburg since 2013 and was offered a season ticket by someone moving to the south of Germany so I rented it off him. They're impossible to get through normal channels - about 10k on the waiting list so I was pretty lucky. £180 for the season! Somehow I never quite made the connection though. On paper it should be great but I never really cared if they won or lost and I gave the ticket up after three years. I'd like to see them do well but I'm really not bothered. Never really got in the Bundesliga since I've been here. Have a few Dortmund-supporting mates and quite like to see them do well. Enjoyed seeing the stadium when we played them in the Europa League the other year.

Eintracht Frankfurt - have lived here for nearly 30 years. Very passionate fans, great atmosphere at home and away games.

Marseille - the Waddle years got me hooked.

Lazio - Gazza

Always had a soft spot for Ajax. They had a similar footballing philosophy to us back when I was small. Playing beautiful football more important than mere results.

In the prem/England....nobody really. Can all go and fvck themselves. Especially West Ham. My whole family supports them.

Juve & Spurs. Supported Juve 1st (thank you Football Italia & Transworld Sport) - But follow Spurs more closely now since I haven'tr found a JuveCommunity.co.Englichmofo yet

Loosely follow Braga (went to a game there), Real Betis (Denilson) , Rochdale (1st team I took from nowhere to CL glory in Fifa 07)
