Would love us to win it obviously but am happy with second and just want us to give Chelsea a run for their money till the very last.

This club and team has come so far. I'd rather relish it than feel bad that we don't win the title.

Last chance saloon next week then (again)! We couldn't have done any more so far and our last hope is that you playing first, and winning, they feel the pressure and drop points.

Today was huge tho, the character of this team, to win a game of this magnitude after watching our title rivals waltz passed Everton, incredible. The future is bright.

Very proud of what we are doing. Chelsea are going to have to earn the title, we aren't just going to give it to them. If they win their next three with us breathing down their necks then fair play to them, they'll be deserved champions.

We have conceded 22 goals and lost 3 games and yet probably still won't win the league, don't know how much more we can do any other season and we are champions.

If we win our games...we still might be...football is a funny old game you know.

The best thing for us is for Chelsea to feel they have already won it.

That's probably what we are relying on now complacency from them which if they do we will be ready to pounce.

Fuck it. Today's special victory will hold great memories for life. This has been a fantastic season so far and WHL has been a fortress. Trophies will come I'm fully confident but for now lets enjoy the moment. Focus on ourselves, get to 89 points and sign off with our heads high. If results work in our favour great, if not so be it.

Our day will come.

Yeah it's quite bittersweet really. Obviously fantastic what we're doing, but running into a team that don't even have to play well most weeks and still fucking win is a bit of a sickener.

I just hope we can make them sweat until the end and are able to keep hold of our players and manage to challenge next season, even with the Wembley thing.

I do, too, and have never, ever used it.

But...just think...we could finish the season on 89 points, with a record equaling winning run in the league, a goal difference that could potentially be plus 50, having scored the most goals in the league and having conceded the least goals with the best defence in the league...and still not win the fecking league. I'm not sure how else you could describe that but Spursy. Unless it includes the word cursed :(

That's one way to look at it.

Or it could mean we never give up and make sure Chelsea earn the title. Plenty of teams would have struggled to maintain our form, especially after losing the FA cup and seeing Chelsea keep winning.

I'd rather do that and end up at 89 points instead of seeing the boys take their foot of the gas and end up at 79 points due to repeated disappointment

Our last 19 games; won 16, drew 2, lost 1....that is phenomenal form just a shame Chelsea had that 13 game winning run which has ultimately set up their title.

Sunderland away was a killer, 0-0 moyes team never crossed the half-way line whole team behind ball, Rose injured, but only missed him at liverpool, pissed it down with rain like it does up north,
