Just maybe we already have a replacement lined up. (Make of that what you will)
If he is unhappy and wants to leave then sell him.
Considering Walker hasn't asked for a transfer, refused to play, direspected our club in any way. i think we should wait until we know the facts to judge...........some of the comments on here are embarrassing discussing who will be replacing him and how we won't miss him, he has been a loyal quality servant here for years ... i think abit of fucking respect due..
I hope he doesn't come on SC....
So you think he is anywhere near the first team do you?
He is a prospect but at this stage that is all.
CCV and Onomah have more experience and yet are not featuring but you think KWP is or could be this year?
Bizarre.
It brings me great pleasure to tell you, @Trix, that Suarez was signed by Liverpool during the same window that Torres left for Chelsea! A masterstroke, if ever there was one! They also signed Andy Carroll, but we need not concern ourselves with that.Just remember how gutted the Pool fans were when on the last day of the January window they sold Torres to Chelsea. That Summer they used that money to buy Suarez.
As I say, as long as the team improves......
Think its been confirmed he did this after the last internationals...ie,not recently.I haven't read this whole thread but meltdown going on twitter as Walker has changed the pics on his profile page from him in a spurs shirt to now England ones.
I am 33 years old and this is somehow big news to me. Excuse me whole I seek to re-address my life choices.
I'm not really bothered what message it sends out to the fans tbh. They aren't privy to all the why's and wherefores. I know some people are going to dislike me saying that, but the supporters are basing their decisions on far less information than the club has. Training issues, contract issues, external behaviour, family situations, agents causing problems, home sickness etc etc.
Then you have to factor in what the club plans to do going forward was the player part of those plans, do we have a better player lined up, have we already got a player coming through that needs playing time because he has the potential to be even better.
So many more points that I haven't even mentioned, and often a combination of them make transfers so much more than sell player X buy player Y.
As I say as long as we continue to improve that is all that matters to me.
No. because Levy will never let more than one big player leave in the transfer window, it's never happened before. Even during the recent Sherwood debacle everyone was saying Jan, Toby, Eriksen would move but we kept them. It seems the majority of players have a good rapport with Poch and are determined to win stuff with spurs so I doubt there will be too much unrest if a right back moves on. Everyone can see the bigger picture of what we're building at the club and they're all young guys so I don't see selling one player as a signal that we're open for business.
Remember that KWP can play LB and RB.
Bloody Sherwood...causing players to leave we hadn't even bought yet
What are you basing that on though?
He hasn't featured imo because he has been behind two top class RB's who both needed game time to keep them happy.
Perhaps Walker can be our SissokoI'd imagine if we manage to get £60M from city for Walker, most people will think that's phenomenal business.
