I'll say it again: Alexandre Lacazette is the player that can catapult this team over the finish line and help us win the league. He can play in the three behind Kane and has exceptional workrate off the ball, too. According to RMC Sport in France yesterday, Atletico are currently leading the race to sign him this summer, and it's speculated they're going to bid 40 million Euros (34 million pounds). If that number is accurate, we should be getting involved at that price point. We are every bit as attractive a club as Atletico at the moment, who may not even be able to sign him if they're transfer ban isn't lifted. Lacazette said a few days ago he'll only go to a club that plays good football and that has Champions League to offer. The other clubs linked with him, Liverpool and Dortmund, haven't secured CL qualification yet, so there's a window here where if we're willing to make a financial commitment, we could be players for his signature. If we don't sign him, I just hope he doesn't end up at Liverpool. He'd be a nightmare in that attacking lineup they have.
