Kanoute v Everton was pretty special too.

Strangely most of the very best goals I can remember have been away from home (Dele v Palace, Ginola v Barnsley, Bale v West Ham, Bentley v Arsenal).

Never saw it but a lot of the old timers say Greaves' s goal agains Leicester was fantastic. For me 3 Hoddle goals stand out - the two volleys against Forest and Man U and one that wasn't televised in the FA Cup in the 77/78 season against Bolton - on the right hand side 35 yards from goal near the touchline with the outside of his right foot - unbelievable !
That goal against Bolton was awesome - it swerved round the keeper and into the side netting as if it had gone past him on the other side.

Yep. Edman's goal v Liverpool was an absolute screamer from about 40 yards

Spurs 5:2 Everton (Marney)
Spurs 4:4 Chelsea (Keane)
Spurs 2:1 Chelsea (Ledley mugs Robben and saves a certain goal)
Liverpool 2:2 Spurs (Edman)

But that's the trouble with JPGreaves isn't it? Far too many sensational goals to really know where to start.

That Utd goal is remembered because it was recorded but I swear it was just normal for him.
I was one of the privileged few (30,000+) who saw the greatest goal ever scored. Sadly, there were no TV cameras there but there is a brilliant photo where two or three Leicester defenders are on the ground having had Jimmy waltz round them, and he's just slotting the ball under a very young Peter Shilton. Honestly, every one of us there just stood and clapped, and the ovation lasted several minutes. I found the photo on Google images but can't seem to copy the URL. Anyone help with that?

As mentioned those two goals by Hoddle v Man United and Nottingham Forest

Both were special and will live long in the memory. For me it would be the goal v Forest

In more recent times surely it's tough to look past that Danny Rose volley on his debut!!
