I don't often 'wish' any more but Barkley, Zaha and Keane would do me. Oh and if they could throw in someone like that French chappie, Griezman or whatever he's called, that'd make my cock twitch too.

EDIT: Oh and yeah, I like that Bernie Silva fella from Monaco a little bit too........

Bernie Silva is going to be one of United's big money spends for the summer.

Oh come on, that's a bit harsh isn't it? I'd have gone with 75% :D

TBF old millsey does, every now and then, say something sensible, the problem is the last time was so long ago that the post was written on goatskin in latin ;)

No seriously, sometimes, he does. My theory is that he posts the rubbish when he's sober and the sensible stuff when he's off his nut sniffing harpic.

I'm going to have to disagree, A & C and have evidence to support my assertion:

signing sessegnon would be excellent and would be up there with dele's transfer. These sort of signings are what keep Dortmund and Atletico strong and won Monaco ligue 1. if sessegnon comes we'd have so many exciting young english players it makes the future extremely exciting.

In all honesty, he's clearly a good player with massive potential but where does he fit into our squad? Danny Rose is the best LB in the league and it'd be incredibly harsh to shaft Ben Davies.

It could be that Davies will serve as Wimmer's replacement at LCB in addition filling in at LWB in case of injury or as a rotation option for matches where we want to rest Rose but where we don't think Sessegnon is ready.

That would allow us to gradually blood Sessegnon in with domestic cup matches and substitute appearances, and provide Rose and Davies with enough playing time to keep both happy.

Don't know if the source on this is good, but it says Everton won't make a statement:
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ws/everton-wont-release-ross-barkley-13074673

The speculation on NSNO is that Barkley is interested in going to Liverpool and that's why there's so little being said. In response to this, one even-handed poster noted that

"Actually the best role model for his attributes would be Gerrard. Only problem is Ross can't shoot."

To which a second poster replied:

"Or assault people in night clubs. We've already seen he's poor on that front."

:ROFLMAO:

I can see the concerns about where Sessegnon would fit in ( and to be honest if I was him I woukd consider Liverpool as a better option for playing time).

I think though that provided he's happy coming to us and being patient for a while, he is the sort of signing that would represent "one that got away" if we didn't push for it.

Absolutely, also his attacking skills and pace means at such a young age he could easily be competing with Son rather than Rose or Davies. He has been played as a full back but when I have seen him play it's full back in the lose sense, he plays like a natural attacker.
