Oh God! I hope not.

Why? Didn't do Wales any harm with him there. Gives us cover at CB, LB and LWB. Lots have said he isn't good enough to fill roses boots, I personally like him but you have to accept the differences between them. I can see that happening. He doesn't deserve replacing and unless we loan Sessegnon back, what's the point in signing him to be 3rd choice?

My opinion, for what it's worth. Playing for Wales is very different to playing in the EPL. International football is predominantly cobbled together teams playing each other. EPL football is some of the very best strikers in the world playing in the same team week in, week out. There is a world of difference. Secondly, I think Davies is quite suspect defensively. When he plays LB he has the touchline doing half the work for him. At CB the striker has more opportunity to go either side and you're defending 360 degrees instead of 180. He's not great in the air either and often loses the flight of the ball and gets caught under it or bullied off it. Watch him in a game like us v Swansea this season - not comfortable viewing.

Not signing Sessegnon due to Davies, that's like saying how harsh it was on Bentaleb that we signed Dele Alli.

Especially since Rose is competent as both a left back and left wing back whereas Davies is more of a solid left back. Sessegnon on the other hand has shown the ability albeit raw to play left back, wing back and as a left sided attacking midfielder. It wouldn't be a case of having 3 left backs instead we'd have 3 left players 2 of whom are very versatile.

Kelechi Iheanacho's Agent "it's clear he won’t be sold to a direct title rival. But Everton and West Ham we'll have to wait and see.", so that's off the table, and the exact reason the Walker transfer seems unlikely.

It won't be off the table if they want Walker and we want Iheanacho.

If you're going to have someone coach you on CB play, then who better than Poch, a former international CB. Do we really know how much time Davies spends at LCB in training, baring in mind Rose has missed a fair chunk, so Davies will have mostly been training run throughs at LB all the time.

If we signed Sessegnon i'd keep Davies for another season at least.

No matter how talented he may be it's still a risk with a 16 year old potentially playing 40 games for us next season if say Rose was to get injured. If it turns out he's the next Dele Alli then we can always sell Davies in January or next summer. We know Davies isn't Roberto Carlos but he's very reliable at least.

I think we could use Davies on the left side of a back three as I said before and it might mean that we can cash in on Wimmer. I think it would also depend on how much we trust CCV.

Sessegnon is 17 years old. I dunno why everyone is worried about where he is gonna play - it will probably be a while until he's competing for the first team.

Think there's a possibility he's eased in by playing on the left at times in front of Rose. Gets him acclimated to the EPL without putting him out there on an island essentially.

When he came on against us I believe he played left wing, so 2 birds 1 stone signing.

Rose off next year (2018/19)

Does this kid actually play at left-back often?

Never watched him for Fulham but I'd hazard a guess he's practically a winger and any club which signs him will develop him as a winger and probably won't play him in their first team for a couple of years. He's 17 ffs!!!

We haven't done badly in the run in with Rose out and Davies in the team. One defeat is it?

Having a versatile player like him only strengthens the argument to keep him.

Having had a successful season like we have, we only need minor tweaks to the squad. Not selling players who've played a vital part in it

Exactly this. We have the foundation set, we really need squad players that can contribute when called upon. That was something that we lacked over the course of the season when you look at guys like Sissoko, Janssen and Nkoudou (Lamela's injury also playing a part). I think you can realistically expect Janssen and Nkoudou to improve, and Lamela should be back healthy, but it remains that we need more quality production from our bench if we want to take the next step.
